And I do that while teaching full time. I do not find it unusual for someone to write a memoir in a short time, esp. if you get a big advance and can hire researchers to track down dates and copy documents for you and your ghostwriter.
I've been working on mine for 30 years. I've almost finished re-re-re-re-re-writing the first 3 chapters!
I just finished writing a 300 page book in 3 months. It involved a lot of research as well.
So 400 pages in 4 months seems easy.
LOL
Not in the ame leauge, but there are authors who know out a book every 6 weeks or so, Check the Harleguin Romance (wife loves em) series. SOme of those women crank out a title a month.
200 page 55000 words. In between jobs I can knock that out in two weeks - then the editing starts....
[Gee, I write MOST of my books in 4-5 months]
I have one I’ve been working on for 15 years, another I finished writing in five, but I’m doing one now that will happen in 5 months or less because I had all the research. Heck, I cranked out 125 pages the first three weeks.
Anyone who reads Sarah’s Facebook pages knows the girl can write.
