Well, that explains why you endorsed Crist over Rubio, you race-baiting RINO traitor.

“Well, that explains why you endorsed Crist over Rubio, you race-baiting RINO traitor. “
Aw, C’mon............you can do better than THAT!!
I’m sick of hearing this crap. If standing up for America means “losing the Hispanic vote” then so be it! Good bye and don’t let the door hit you in the ash.

The GOP can’t win the latino vote under any circumstances! How could they? The latinos are entrenched lefties and please don’t tell me they have family values - they say things like “mia familia” and have no regard whatsoever for things outside of their family.
We conservatives are self-reliant and individualistic, latinos are groupthink and most of the immigrants from latino countries aren’t coming here to become “John Wayne” - they are coming here for the easy living and to get something for nothing. They are tax consumers, not producers.
One final note, and the most important one of all, latinos are only 5-7% of the vote. The GOP can live without the black vote, it can live without the latino vote too.
Missing Words [Ramesh Ponnuru]
Reaching out to Hispanics is very important to Mel Martinez and Michael Gerson. So why can’t Gerson bring himself to mention the words “Marco Rubio” in a column about Martinez’s departure from the seat that Rubio is running for? And why is Martinez opposing Rubio’s candidacy?
Thankfully, most of the Latinos in this country are inelgible to vote.
Hispanics voted as a bloc for Democrats in 2008 (and 2006) in spite of the fact that a sitting Republican President (Bush) and a Republican Presidential candidate (McCain) were the leading proponents of amnesty and a path to citizenship for 20 million plus illegals.
What more could a Republican do to make these Hispanics happy? This shows the folly and stupidity of people like Martinez, McCain, Graham and their like in the stupidity of pandering to Hispanics. Even if they gave them $10000 cash to vote Republican, they would vote Democrat. It's in their DNA, just like with African Americans.
Republicans would have a better chance educating Hispanics that voting for Democrats would place them into a permanent poverty and welfare class like what happened to the African Americans, who after 70 years of Democrat fealty find their status worse than ever and their family structure destroyed.
What the F**K???
The Republicans ARE inclusive. Wasn’t it Republicans who pushed hard for Amnesty? And despite this, they lost the Hispanic vote anyway.
If there is anyone the Republicans are trying to exclude its conservatives. We’re just not welcome in that party.
I think that's putting it mildly for many of us.
Hmmm . . . maybe Republicans should announce they are for “comprehensive reform” or the drunk driving laws, to shore up the Irish vote. Or for repealing anti-organized crime laws, to gain Italian votes. Or for a more lax law on usury, to attract Jewish voters.
See how ugly and awful that sounds? That’s how I hear people who complain that the GOP is “anti-Hispanic” to the extent it fights for enforcement of immigration laws. It basically says that all H9iapanics are criminals, or support criminal activity. it is very, very demeaning - to Hispanics! I know many who are fed up with the pandering and race-baiting from the left, and who want the immigration laws ENFORCED.
But my educated guess is that both parties see a demographic trend and are trying to go after the votes . . . whether or not the country survives in the process.
The illegal aliens cum legal citizen are not going to vote for republicans anyways. Why help them? Better to drive them all back from whence they came. Make undocumented presence in this country a felony. Deport them on the first offense and ban them from ever returning for any reason. If they are found a second time, try them and execute them.
I thought only O blames everything on Bush.
Is endorsing illegal activity the only way to attract Hispanics?
I'm not Hispanic and I don't think Republicans like me either.
well, when all the major networks (including a few commentators on FOX), all the major newspapers, and darn near 90% of elected officials on both sides of the aisle calling those who oppose open borders racist, that gonna happen.
And during the campaign, the media and many "conservative" talk-radio folks would only talk to and give air time to the RINOs.
The only Reagan conservative in the bunch (IMHO), Duncan Hunter, couldn't even get more than token air-time on conservative talk radio, and in the debates, the mods kept giving the mike McPain, Ramney and Julie.
