In an authoritative essay published in The Wall Street Journal, Abdurrahman Wahid, the first president of newly democratic Indonesia from 1999 to 2001, described what constitutes "right Islam" as distinct from "wrong Islam."
He warned people of good will to recognize that "a terrible danger threatens humanity." This peril, Wahid wrote, emanates from an "extreme and perverse ideology in the minds of fanatics," specifically "Wahhabi/Salafist ideology -- a minority fundamentalist religious cult fueled by [Saudi] petrodollars."
The importance of this essay, and the warning in it, comes from the prestige of the author. Abdurrahman Wahid is an Islamic scholar who heads Nahdatul Ulama (NU), the largest Muslim organization in the largest Muslim country -- Indonesia, with a population of some 240-million. NU membership is estimated at 40-million, and the mainstream brand of Sunni Islam its leadership preaches and practices is open, tolerant, inclusive, moderate, respectful of local traditions, embracing of Sufilearning and spirituality, and compatible with the modern world of science and democracy.

“Islam’s Two Paths”? Hmmm, interesting. Since Islam denies Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for all sins and then rose from the dead, I’d say the only path Islam is on is the path to destruction.
Without Christ there is no salvation. Islam denies that. You do the math.

They all call the Faithful to Kill or Subjugate the Infidel.

What Islam needs to do is repudiate polygamy.
Then maybe their people would not be so inbred and impoverished. Then maybe most of the males would have a legitimate right to exist, i.e. find a wife and have children. The mathematical imperative of polygamy is extra males, too many children of dominant males, inbreeding problems and impoverishment due to excessive family size.
A successful Palestinian male is expected to have 50 children to have any standing in society. That is 12.25 each from 4 allowed wives. This in the biggest welfare state on the planet!
There is very little chance each successive generation could possibly hand down prosperity given the geometrical explosion of descendants of one single grandfather, even if half the children are eliminated from inheriting because of their gender, as is the practice: 25 rich sons of one man have 25 sons themselves, which is 625 male grandchildren. Extend this one more generation of males having 25 sons and you have over 15,625 male descendants from one great grandfather.
More conservatives need to understand and condemn the sick practice of polygamy. We all must condemn this moral, cultural, financial, genetic and gender depravity. It is not just a Hefner thing; it is a 1300 year practice that is demographic suicide.
