my thoughts exactly. this is perfect. if it had been further in to his presidency, there would have been attempts to justify his selection. 12 days in, that is IMPOSSIBLE to do and just shows the meaninglessness of the honor AND HIM.
Zip it, Huck. The WHOLE WORLD is laughing at him and the WhoreWegian parliament committee who chose him. When I first heard it, half asleep, I thought it was a joke, then realized this was for real. Then I was worried that half the world, at least would think he deserved it.
But surveying the response for a half hour after teaching my class, I can see that the overwhelming response is to laugh oneself silly.
I printed out the “Breaking News” jokes from FR and I’m going to post them on my office door at the university. For the first time I can mock him as he deserves to be mocked without fearing that my leftist colleagues will denounce me. They can’t because they all know it a farce. I can mock him and they have to squirm and can’t say anything in defense of him.
