I keep seeing comments like this on FR: “I hereby promise to support the GOP candidate in 2012 no matter who he or she may be "

Frist, Schwarzenegger and Dole and have proven the danger of that! Party before country will destroy this nation. Let the democrats be those useful idiots. I have not been a 'republican' since Dole's nomination and became one because the good leaders of the republican party stood up to Nixon and said "NO MORE".."GET OUT"...where are those men of principal now?

Ahnold and Dole are republicans like Hussein deserved the Nobel prize. And Bloomberg—the nations supreme gun-grabber! Another real conservative and American patriot.

Its a hard left wing operation.

The GOP Beltway pundits assume conservative anger at Obama’s policies will translate into automatic conservative support for the Republican. Thus enabling GOP candidates to devote more time to pander to independents.

2012 Campaign Message: Obama’s a socialist! Vote GOP!

How can we pass judgment without knowing what’s in the bill?

Dole is a paid K street lobbist prostitute.

I have been saying for over a week that my money says a lot of republicans will vote FOR this health care bill.

It’s all about taking over the country and subjecting us to tyranny.

Not from me! The RNC is playing the same old game again, trying to scare people into voting for a lesser evil. As a result we get forced further into a leftist tyranny with each election.

It's time to turn around!

Besides the Bush policies on amnesty and uncontrolled spending, a major reason for Republican fall from power in 2006 was the lack of leadership by Frist and Hastert. Even with majorities, they were unable to keep control and advance conservative agendas. Frist let the Gang of 14 take control of the judicial nominations.

To hear these architects of the Republican collapse speak out in support of Obama is a joke. The only guy missing from this bunch of morons is McCain.

the federal government getting involved in healthcare is a wild stretch of article 1 section 8, they have no authority to impose this tyrranny upon us . They should ALL be removed from office by the US military . ......this is true ....but I am the nut ! !

This is the new meme or talking point. All the Dhimmis are doing it. Momentum is on their side. To them, up is down, in is out, sagging support means rising support. All the polls say the opposite. People must immediately destroy this argument and expose it as pure propaganda.

Dole Blasts McConnell as Barrier to Health Reform

Much is being made this week of the Obama administration’s efforts to showcase those Republicans who’ve come out in vocal support of health care reform this year, including former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Add to that list former Senate Majority Leader Robert Dole (R-Kans.). The one-time presidential candidate blasted current Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) this week for his persistent attempts to kill the Democrats’ legislation. From The Star of Kansas City:

“I want this to pass,” he said. “I don’t agree with everything Obama is presenting, but we’ve got to do something.”

He added: “I don’t want the Republicans putting up a ‘no’ sign and saying, ‘we’re not open for business.’”

Dole singled out one “very prominent Republican, who happens to be the Republican leader of the Senate,” The Star reported.

Yes, let's listen to those in "the party" who opposed the idea of "The Contract With America," and have done all they could to reverse it. They managed to engineer the stunning losses in the house and senate during the last two congressional and senatorial races. I guess they just figure that since going left the last two cycles didn't really help (it actually got their butts handed to them!), if they go REALLY hard left, maybe the pubbies will do better this time.

I wasn't going to vote for McCain until he selected Governor Palin. I'm still pissed off at the way they treated her. If the republicans pull this crap again, they'll lose me forever, and yes, I realize that the next election could mean the end of the USA as we know it. To quote someone from Viet Nam, "maybe we need to burn the village down to save it."
