Judge Land Fines Orly Taitz $20K, File Copy of Order with State Bar of CA
United States District Court (Georgia) ^ | 10/13/2009 | Judge Clay Land

Posted on 10/13/2009 7:45:31 AM PDT by BuckeyeTexan

When a lawyer files complaints and motions without a reasonable basis for believing that they are supported by existing law or a modification or extension of existing law, that lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law. When a lawyer uses the courts as a platform for a political agenda disconnected from any legitimate legal cause of action, that lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law. When a lawyer personally attacks opposing parties and disrespects the integrity of the judiciary, that lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law. When a lawyer recklessly accuses a judge of violating the Judicial Code of Conduct with no supporting evidence beyond her dissatisfaction with the judge’s rulings, that lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law. When a lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law, that lawyer ceases to advance her cause or the ends of justice.

-snip-

Regrettably, the conduct of counsel Orly Taitz has crossed these lines, and Ms. Taitz must be sanctioned for her misconduct. After a full review of the sanctionable conduct, counsel’s conduct leading up to that conduct, and counsel’s response to the Court’s show cause order, the Court finds that a monetary penalty of $20,000.00 shall be imposed upon counsel Orly Taitz as punishment for her misconduct, as a deterrent to prevent future misconduct, and to protect the integrity of the Court. Payment shall be made to the United States, through the Middle District of Georgia Clerk’s Office, within thirty days of today’s Order. If counsel fails to pay the sanction due, the U.S. Attorney will be authorized to commence collection proceedings.

Since you keep on harping about this:

You: So he can’t say that dual citizenship *alone* makes a child not an NBC. He can’t say that Bubba is not an NBC....

So he won’t say that Bubba IS an NBC.....

From your link, El Gato speaking of Bubba.

El Gato, "If your parents were citizens, then yes you are."

We do agree that Bubba is a natural born citizen because his parents were US citizens at the time of his birth.

But in Obama case, he only had one parent as a US citizen and the other was totally (only) and clearly a British subject and then he became a citizen of Kenya at their independence day. Native born citizens, statutory citizens, naturalized citizens, and duel citizens can give birth to US natural born citizens. Time to find something else obfuscate about.

That's Two US parents and the child born on US soil is a natural born citizen. I've been consistent from the beginning.

Both Vattel and Blackstone state exceptions to the "in the country" requirement for children born of those serving the sovereign/nation outside of it's borders.

I am my age whether anyone ever looks at my driver's license. It just is.

If you are 35 and your drivers license says 34 - does your 'it just is' still apply?

No need. Sometimes I need to be sharper in my posts to mitigate misunderstanding.

So the apology is mine to you.

I’m sure it’s a returnee. Or someone who has two (or more?) screen names.

Ever heard of (the) Clown Possee? Sort of an anti-FR site, a few years ago? Some of them hated my guts and posted some really strange stuff about me, reminiscent of this peron’s babyish attacks. Another poster today used the same phrase, can’t remember who it was.

When they start slamming with dirty weird silly childish name calling, you know they’re getting angry.

I think it’s very funny - brings a smile of cheer.

Why would he do that? He's already been sworn into office by the chief justice of the highest court in the land.

SO? A bit of ceremony not mandated by the Constitution. The Constitution merely provides that the oath be taken. It need not be, and has not always been, by the Chief Justice, or any judge or justice. It need not even be done orally. It's just another requirement for taking office. Like winning the electoral college vote, being 35 or over, having been 14 years a resident, and being a natural born citizen. Fail to be or do any of those, and you're not President.

Not even if you swore on the King James Bible, the Jewish Tanakh and Thomas Jefferson's copy of the Koran.

They couldn’t say black?

That would have been just as anachronistic as "African". This was 1961, almost the dark ages. Even I think it was, and I was 11 and almost 12, when BHO was allegedly born. I remember reporting on the Alan Shepard Mercury-Redstone flight, both before and after the flight. I had help with the writing, and physical production of the "paper", but I had to deliver the oral presentation. Ah yes, fifth grade, Miss Holt, an original old maid school teacher, and mean as a snake. I liked the rest of my elementary teachers though, so one of seven isn't too bad. Well Blondina Schneider could be mean too, but not to the "good students", even if they weren't necessarily all that "good" in terms of classroom behavior. 'Course she was a big woman, so no one gave her too much guff. She would have fit right in a Wagnerian opera in brass brassier and horned helmet. Still I liked her, and she liked my brother, six years later, the poor little guy. :)

Wouldn't that be pompous as heck?

Not nearly so pompus as a Nobel Peace Prize based on his first few weeks in office. Now that is pompous.

Dang near lost my teeth on Friday, would have lost my mouthguard if I hadn't already taken it out when I turned on the TV while waiting for my wife to finish getting ready for our trip to the dentist. The first words out of my mouth were "For What?" My wife said, "What did they say", thinking she'd misheard what they said.

And in the specific case of Obama, why should any professor or lawyer have any doubt as to his Hawaiian birth when Janice Okubo has clearly and concisely stated that she has "seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii

Be nice if you'd get the right name to go with that statment. Okubo is merely the press spokesman for the Hawaii DoH. That statement and an ealier one, were made by Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Department of Health.
