We know that "safe schools czar" and "Queering Elementary Education" essayist Kevin Jennings failed to oppose homosexual man-boy relationships and that science czar John Holdren has written, without objection, that "laws requiring compulsory abortion could be sustained under the existing Constitution." We know that one-time Health and Human Services secretary nominee Tom Daschle had to withdraw because of a failure to pay his taxes. But what has not been adequately tallied is how many of President Obama's nominees and appointees are radical or just plain embarrassing.

0bama himself told us to look at the people he surrounds himself with to discover his viewpoints, to know what he thinks, how he intends to govern. Why he and his administration take offense at anyone doing this ... no leg to stand on.
The “safe schools” meme is a misnomer. It refers to making schools safe for gay, bi, transgendered, and “questioning” yutes to prance around flaunting their sexuality - not making them safe for ordinary hetero kids who are getting shot, beaten, etc.

I disagree somewhat. I think "safe schools" is a double-entendre. "Safe" in the sense of safe for gay kids, is the ostensible meaning (i.e. they won't get lynched by all those evil religionists).
The real meaning, the inside meaning, IMHO is "safe for gay cruising". I think it's all about turning out boys who can be gotten over on, or "skinned" in gayspeak. In some schools the visiting "gay authorities" who come to teach "tolerance" wouldn't dare act out with students, but in "safe schools" they are "safe" in doing so.
