The defintion of sports according to multiple dictionaries: physical activity governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively. The word finesse does not appear in the definition. Besides, there is plenty of finesse in football. Also, many of those “oversized big dumb bastards” are intelligent. Except for quarterback, the skilled finesse players tend to be dumber than the lineman.
Henceforth all NFL games are banned on TV in my house.

I’m not really bummed; Rush has a big forum every day to get his message across and suing these jokers seems a huge waste of time and, yes, money. Why bother?
He has thus far lost NO money himself and why start now? It’s not like he has to stay quiet and go away. He is front and center — and this controversy has increased his ratings! It has also injured the NFL since some 30 million people claim they will boycott the NFL.
If Rush were a behind the scenes guy I’d say sure, sue ‘em. But he doesn’t need to — he’s taking a higher road by NOT suing them.

I don’t think Rush will sue the NFL — I think he may well sue Sharpton and Jackson for slander. Leveling THEM would be fantastic — the NFL is just stupid and has stuck its own foot in it.......

Look folks. This is a war. A couple weeks ago our side won a great victory in having ACORN exposed. This week the race hustlers on the left won a pretty minor victory here. Exposing ACORN was a bigger deal by far. A little perspective here.

Agreed; here is the rub:
* The media listens to his show; they’re not changing their view and will continue the lie.
* The media’s followers, the ignorant lemmings, DON’T listen to Rush, and the “greater good” argument for suing and winning would be a lawsuit or two won by Rush would prove and be visible to the ignorant masses, that he was indeed right and THEY are the ones lying.
Other than that, there isn’t a purpose in suing other than self-vindication. It does indeed piss all of us off.
