Consumer advocate and former Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader says President Barack Obama is “a serious disappointment.”

“He’s a frightened man,” Nader told Yahoo Tech Ticker. “He doesn’t like to take on corporate power, that’s quite clear in the first nine months… he’s a harmony-ideology type, which is not what you want for a strong president.”

One of Nader’s primary complaints is that Obama, unlike most of his recent predecessors, has not taken a strong stand on consumer protection.

“Let’s face it, consumers pay the final bill,” Nader says. “You’d think the president would give some attention to it. He didn’t even establish a special assistant for consumer affairs in the White House.”

There’s no better sound than that of a disappointed Ralph Nader.

I have far more respect for Nader than most Democrats. Nader is truly a throwback to Democrats of yesteryear.

How could anyone be disappointed with the Zero. We knew he was a weak do nothing when he was running for office.

The people who voted for this clown should be disappointed in themselves.

My point exactly. He seperates the old Democrats from the new younger Democrats.

Keeping the coalition of looney tunes left wing crazies together is harder than herding cats. Bambi will have to ‘organize’ his a$$ off.

Well Ralph, Barrack is the epitome of “affirmative action”. It has finally reached its zenith with the occupation of the White House.

LOL, Obama proves the Peter Principle... Individuals in an organization rise to their first level of incompetence.

As bad as Ralph Nader sucks, we’d be better off in a Ralph Nader America than we are with the nigerian.

Not just the first! Consider his “present” Senate record. Obama has not just the Peter Principle, but Peter Principle momentum.

It’s funny that for 78% of Americans, Obama is too liberal, but for his lunatic base, he’s way too right wing.
