Consumer advocate and former Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader says President Barack Obama is a serious disappointment.
Hes a frightened man, Nader told Yahoo Tech Ticker. He doesnt like to take on corporate power, thats quite clear in the first nine months hes a harmony-ideology type, which is not what you want for a strong president.
One of Naders primary complaints is that Obama, unlike most of his recent predecessors, has not taken a strong stand on consumer protection.
Lets face it, consumers pay the final bill, Nader says. Youd think the president would give some attention to it. He didnt even establish a special assistant for consumer affairs in the White House.

What? No Consumer Affairs Czar?
The HORROR!
There’s no better sound than that of a disappointed Ralph Nader.
I have far more respect for Nader than most Democrats. Nader is truly a throwback to Democrats of yesteryear.
Disappointment is he crazy??????? Hust what in the hell did the toy organizer ever do in his life to draw any expectations?
Hust = Just
How could anyone be disappointed with the Zero. We knew he was a weak do nothing when he was running for office.
The people who voted for this clown should be disappointed in themselves.
My point exactly. He seperates the old Democrats from the new younger Democrats.
Keeping the coalition of looney tunes left wing crazies together is harder than herding cats. Bambi will have to ‘organize’ his a$$ off.
Barack Hussein Obama.....unsafe at any speed
Well Ralph, Barrack is the epitome of “affirmative action”. It has finally reached its zenith with the occupation of the White House.
LOL, Obama proves the Peter Principle... Individuals in an organization rise to their first level of incompetence.
Well, Ralph. You killed the Corvaire. You’ll have to be satisfied with that.
As bad as Ralph Nader sucks, we’d be better off in a Ralph Nader America than we are with the nigerian.
Is he pushing for Bummer to make him Consumer Czar?
Not just the first! Consider his “present” Senate record. Obama has not just the Peter Principle, but Peter Principle momentum.
It’s funny that for 78% of Americans, Obama is too liberal, but for his lunatic base, he’s way too right wing.
Disappointment... Does this mean he’s not the Messiah afterall?
Who would have thought - Nader must be a racist! He’s criticized the man of peace.
