Representative Luis Gutierrez introduces immigration reform principles
Representative Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) addressed a rally on the West Lawn of the Capitol on October 13 and outlined the following principles for immigration reform: 1) a pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers; 2) professional and effective border enforcement; 3) smart and humane interior enforcement; 4) protecting workers, both US. and foreign-born; 4) an effective employer verification system which protects workers from exploitation from employers; 5) family unity as a cornerstone of our immigration system; 6) future flow of workers with worker protections; 6) the inclusion of AgJOBS and the DREAM Act; and 7) the promotion of immigrant integration.
Representative Gutierrez intends to introduce legislation based on these principles sometime in November. The U.S. Catholic Bishops’ Conference will work with Representative Gutierrez to fashion legislation which best reflects the bishops’ principles for immigration reform.

I agree that illegals need a pathway to citizenship. They should return to their native countries, apply for immigratioin to the U.S., patiently wait for their visas, immigrate after their approval, and live in the U.S., legally, for at least five years.

AMNESTY....What does 20 million people actually look like?
Do you realize if this AMNESTY happens we are in effect creating the equivilent of adding over 17 more states to this country? And that’s not even considering the chain migration that is in every amnesty bill or the millions of illegal alien anchor babies intent on carrying out the terror of their Mexican drug cartels, or refugees or several million LEGAL entrants.
Please look at what giving amnesty to as many as 20,000,000 illegal alien foreign nationals actually represents. More than the population of 16 states and DC!
According to the 2000 census, 18,785,867 is the total populations combined of Wyoming, Dist. of Columbia, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana, Rhode Island, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Maine, Idaho, Nebraska, West Virginia, New Mexico and Nevada.

Drug Hitmen’ Dismember Bodies Of Victims
Ten decapitated and dismembered bodies have been discovered in the back of
an abandoned van in southern Mexico, police say.
Police found the bodies stuffed in plastic bags in the back of a van
The body parts of the male victims had been stuffed into 18 plastic bin
bags and were found in the state of Guerrero.
Some of the victims were shot before they were beheaded, police said.
Threatening messages signed in the name of the drugs cartel La Familia
were found with the bodies.
“La Familia doesn’t kill innocent people. Those who die have to die,” said
one of the messages.
The cult-like La Familia is based in the neighbouring state of Michoacan
and is said to mix violence and pseudo-religion to inspire its traffickers.
Mexican President Felipe Calderon
Officials say in recent days violence has escalated in Guerrero, a major
hub for drug trafficking and home to the popular resort of Acapulco.
Police found the bodies of three men dumped in a van in a residential
neighbourhood and another body was found outside a cemetery near a small town.
In both incidents, threatening messages were left alongside the bodies,
authorities said.
Soon after taking office in 2006 Mexican President _Felipe Calderon_

crackdown on drug-related violence and deployed more than 50,000 soldiers
nationwide.
