WASHINGTON - The unprecedented number of death threats against President Obama, a rise in racist hate groups, and a new wave of antigovernment fervor threaten to overwhelm the US Secret Service, according to government officials and reports, raising new questions about the 144-year-old agency’s overall mission.
The Secret Service is tracking a far broader range of possible threats to the nation’s leaders, the officials said, even as it also investigates financial crimes such as counterfeiting as part of its original mandate.
The new demands are leading some officials, both inside and outside the agency, to raise the possibility of the service curtailing or dropping its role in fighting financial crime to focus more on protecting leaders and their families from assassination attempts and thwarting terrorist plots aimed at high-profile events.

Now questioning where the missing birth certificate (among other things) is makes one a racist?
The White house will not even talk to Beck....they will boycot FOX-what does that say about their activity, thought process?
They have the rest of the media in their back pocket so they refuse to address the points that Beck makes.
We all have to show our “legitimate-legal birth certificates” in order to get a drivers license, business license, kids to play on soccer teams, etc.
Why will this President not show/prove to the AMERICAN PUBLIC that his birth certificate is real and legitimate?

But look on the upside: When the OSS (Obama Secret Service) finally gets around to arresting the rank & file FReepers and sending us to Arctic concentration camps in places like Nome, Alaska, we’ll have such interesting and far ranging political, cultural and philosophic discussions in the barracks at night after the 18 hour shift in the salt mine.
What nonsense. The most serious threat to the president comes from Islamic extremists. And Hussein Obama is closing Guantanamo and importing them to the USA so they can, in short order, be loosed amongst us by liberal judges.

This hype about Barack Obama living under grave threat of assassination has been going on since before the election. I just can’t see that he is in more danger than any other president - particularly George W. Bush, renowned foe of liberals and Islamic terrorists. (It’s why we love him.) There are a lot more hate-filled leftists than there are hate-filled white supremacists.
I’d be more impressed by the media’s horror of threats against the president if it were bipartisan. It was leftist peace protests, not right-wing Tea Parties, that paraded the “Kill the President” sentiment. The establishment media could have cared less.
99% of their reports are from DUmmies and KOSKooks. If you say I hate obama, their typical response is ‘ MIKE< MIKE are you here” ? “We all need to call the SS now”. Friggin freaks.
I always thought it deliciously ironic that the liberals were calling for snipers on Bush. Any sniper in the military is more than likely to be a conservative, and Bush would be the last person they would assassinate.
Perhaps the problem is that we were once all Americans. Now, we have “increasing diversity.” Our melting pot is now the “salad bowl.”
I don’t want to see the growth of the SS in America. Let the law be the FBI , State , and local authorities.

Perhaps Ron Paul; I may not agree with all of his policies or conclusions, but he seems to read and give weight to the Constitution.
