Sarah Palin wants to sell some books. She is giving an interview to Oprah Winfrey that will air Monday, Nov. 16.
Winfrey has the golden touch when it comes to pushing books.
The Winfrey folks called the interview a "world exclusive." It will be Palin's first interview to promote her book, "Going Rogue: An American Life."
And people said this meeting would never happen! What do you think about this?
The interview will air during the important November ratings period, so Palin should help Winfrey, too.
That's how the book business works, folks.
The interview will be Palin's first appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Winfrey was a staunch supporter of Barack Obama in last year's presidential election. Former Alaska Gov. Palin was John McCain's running mate.
The Winfrey folks are calling the show "The Oprah Winfrey Show: Exclusive -- Oprah Talks to Sarah Palin."

Oprah? No way, why not help out a friend for ratings...not Oprah who is on her way out. Why does our side always kiss liberal arse?

Is anybody seriously worried that Palin can't handle an interview with Oprah?
Oprah's going to ask her things like how she met her husband, how she handles raising kids with a career, and how she "feels" about crap.

Actually, we need to send the ratings into orbit when Palin shows up.
Then drop off like a rock.

Doesn’t seem wise to to me, but maybe Sarah knows what she is doing. At least she is not being forced into the interview by people that hate her. And she must know that Oprah and her minions hate her and want her to fail.

How is it in this day and age of digital cable tv and DVR and TIVO does Comcast or DirectTV not know what we are watching all the time? Including when we change the channel?
Nielsen might give them some deeper feedback but I don’t believe the cable tv companies don’t know what we’re watching all the time.

Watch out Sarah; this woman hates you with a vengeance. Yes. And her book is already at #1 isn't it? Didn't she learn anything from doing the interview with Couric?

Hoping to sell books or not, I have never been able to understand why Conservatives go on programs where the host absolutely despises everything they stand for.
Palin won’t get a fair shake out of this. By going on the show, she gives Oprah the ability to say she has been fair, after all she even put ‘Sarah Palin’ on the show. What won’t be mentioned are the ‘Has the incest between family members stopped?’ moments that are sure to take place.
Sarah, get better advisors... pleeeeeeeeeeeeaase!

I agree that it's absurd, but television ratings and thus advertising rates are still determined solely by the 25,000 Neilsen boxes.
It doesn't matter what anybody else watches.
