I an upset about this appearance. It is meant by Oprah primarily to up her ratings and retain her faux title of Queen of Talk. I suspect this is a move pushed on by her publishers but she should have resisted this to the utmost. Count me very disappointed.
To be fair, when she refused to have Sarah on her show before the comments section was displeased by her actions as well. I’m not sure that’s a reflection of how all of Oprah’s audience thinks or just each side’s partisans cluttering the site.
They have declared war on our Constitution, our freedoms, our sovereignty, our economy.
But people still want to 'be friends' with them?
WE've been accomodating the left for 50 years and they are within inches of achieving their ultimate goals. Are you aware of what's at stake in Copenhagen next month?
I agree. Sarah will do just fine and will come off as very charming and knowledgeable.
Does that mean when she campaigns for President she can only campaign in Red cities and Red states..
Get real.
Rush Limbaugh went on Jay Leno’s show, isn’t Jay Leno a big Obama loving lib..He still went on his show and from the looks of things, appeared to have had a great time. The audience even applauded him.
I wouldn’t worry to much about Sarah getting ambushed in anyway shape or form. There will be a contract spelling out the obligations of party. I would also bet a it will be live to tape or straight live with no edits what so ever.
Here Sarah on The Today show from June. Sarah can hold her own and the interview was live unedited.

Many of Sarah’s fans here seem not to have confidence in her ability to deliver in a potentially hostile situation. I, for one, relish the idea of Sarah Palin taking this opportunity to expand her support. She will do just fine!
Then again may of them didn’t want her to do the Couric interview and it might have been best if she hadn’t.
I was in the group who did wish her to btw.
If she wants to do this show, our opinions don’t matter. Her life.
I will not watch the show. I never watch so it will not be a hardship. LOL Wish her well and hope she gets what she wants from it. Afterwards, looks forward to Oprah’s ratings falling again.
I can understand some of her supporters being upset because Oprah didn’t want Sarah on her show back in August 2008, but she wants her now. But the ones that are saying that Sarah can’t handle being on Oprah, come on. Sarah is a smart woman. The ones that say that obviously have no confidence that Sarah has the ability to communicate, when clearly she does. She stopped deathcare in its tracks for goodness sake with 1 facebook posting. I am looking forward to the interview and I bet she even makes Oprah regret treating her like crap. Remember when Rush went on Leno’s show, many here were really upset about that, saying how it will boost Jay’s sagging ratings, Rush did just fine, in fact, better then fine. It was an awesome interview and Rush looked like he had a great time
I talk with people I wouldn’t want to be friends with but my way of getting my message across.
There are people on FR who associate with anti war , anti Israel and pro Legalize marajuana candidates.. Need to be concerned about them and their associates.
Do these ignorant house fraus even know why they hate Sarah Palin so much? What did she ever do to them?
I am not pleased either. I smell a huge trap for Sarah, and she won't be able to blame Steve Schmidt for this one.
I look forward to watching Oprah’s ratings tank, AFTER the interview. I hope the actual interview gets skyrocketing ratings. Sarah knows what she is doing, this interview is LIVE, no way for them to edit what she says. I think they have already made arrangements for what happens during this interview. It will be on Sarah’s terms and Sarah’s terms only. I don’t think Oprah’s show is usually live(Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t watch her, actually, can’t stand Oprah) so this live business was obviously Sarah’s decision to make sure nothing was edited.
As far as the Katie Couric interview goes, the election was lost way before that interview was done. The second the market started crashing and McCain went to Washington to vote for a stimulus package no one wanted, the election was over. Sarah could have hit that Couric interview out of the park and it wouldn’t have made a damn bit of difference
Like with Couric? No way. Sarah simply cannot do shows that OTHERS will edit before it airs. The only major unedited appearances she made last year were at the Convention and in the VP debate, both of which she aced.
I agree.
To All see post 68 and watch the video. Now that is the real Sarah.
The big difference, Sarah is now calling the shots and can answer questions as she wants not by another person’s handlers
The Oprah show will be aired live on Nov 16th.
