Three in 10 people in the United States believe President Barack Obama is a foreigner, according to a new poll from an international leader in market research who asked residents about their beliefs regarding the president's birth place.

The survey was done by Angus Reid Global Monitor, a division of Vision Critical Group, which leverages "the world's most advanced online research technology for interactive surveys, custom panels, private communities and virtual retail environments."

The results of the survey, released today, said 70 percent of the respondents believe Obama was born in the U.S., "while 30 percent do not."

"While only 13 percent of Democratic Party supporters believe Obama was not born in the U.S., the proportion rises to 25 percent among Independents and 51 percent among Republican Party backers," the report said.

Oh. Well. Such a substantive reply.

Also like many foreigners, he appears envious and resentful of America’s prosperity and her preeminent role in the world. Finally, he often puts the interests of foreigners over those of Americans—the closing of GITMO and the transfer of the terrorists held there to the USA demonstrates this. He is clearly more interested in the “rights” and comforts of foreign terrorists than in the safety of America’s children.

... On April 5, 2008, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Passport Services Ann Barrett resigned from her post after a credit card scheme using US passport date was uncovered by the security probe. State Department Spokesman Tom Casey told The Washington Times that 24-year-old Lieutenant Quarles Harris Jr. told federal authorities he obtained “passport information from a co-conspirator who works for the U.S. Department of State.”

The investigation began after Metropolitan Police on March 25 pulled over Mr. Harris in Southeast on suspicion that the windows of his vehicle were tinted too darkly.
After searching Mr. Harris and his vehicle, police found marijuana and 21 credit cards that were not issued in his name or the name of a female passenger with him. Police also found eight printouts of State Department passport applications, and four of the names on the applications matched four of the credit cards.
Upon questioning by agents from the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Postal Service and State Department, Mr. Harris “admitted he obtained the passport information” from a State Department employee, court documents say.

Mr. Harris also said the fraud ring submitted credit-card applications using the names and “identifying information” of the persons listed on the passport applications, and that a postal service employee then would intercept the cards before they were delivered to the appropriate residences.
Then, on April 17, 2008, Lt. Harris was found fatally shot dead slumped over the steering wheel of his car in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast DC."

Michael Anzallo, head of the department's Criminal Investigations Division.
Cmdr. Anzallo said a police officer was patrolling the neighborhood when gunshots were heard, then Lt. Harris was found dead inside the vehicle, which investigators would describe only as a blue car."

A president gives up, or should give up, certain privacy rights. The presentation of his FRIGGIN' BIRTH CERTIFICATE is one of them.

It's spooky that there's so little paper trail on this guy. The-most-transparent-president-in-history seems to have had his background wiped away. Clinton was the first president to hide his medical records. Obama hides everything, including college transcripts, birth certificates, etc.

As a citizen, I want to see these to gain insight into the guy who's currently the leader of the free world. I mean, come on, there's nothing on record that he's written except for a very bad piece of writing in a college paper until he pens what many consider the greatest literary work by a modern politician. It is amazing to me that this large percentage of the population even **know** about the issue. Fox News, our conservative talk show hosts, and ( of course) the mainstream media have IGNORED the issue.

So?...Of that 30% how many read at a very high level and depend on the Internet for their news? Of those in the 70% who believe that Obama was born in the U.S. how many of them read poorly, or are functionally illiterate?

What would be the percentage of people who ( like myself) would say that their isn't enough evidence to make any determination of where Obama was born?

This is the most commonly used nonsense argument of birth-certificaters.

#1 No place in the constitution does it say that the presidential election gets overturned if you don't like his birth certificate. Birth certificate is not mentioned anyplace in the US constitution. Neither are you given that power beyond election day.

#2 You don't believe in the constitution anyway. Bush vs Gore was a clear violation of power by the SCOTUS, the US constitution clearly gave that power to select electors to the state, not the federal government. But you were happy with that ignoring of the constitution because ‘your guy’ won. The phoniness of your ‘sore-loserman’ attitude is apparent to nearly everyone.

It matters not if we like his bc or not. His entire past is covered up and after the bc issue came up, he insulted our intelligence by issuing a COLB with minimal information on it. So no one is to bring up the bc issue otherwise be tagged as a mslsd troll? And since obama is keeping ALL his past records under seal, it causes a lot of suspicion. Where there’s smoke there is fire. We cannot depend on the media because they campaigned for this guy. Mclame was put through a long exhausting look through, but obama was not. The senate went through a long process trying to disqualify mccain because he was born in the canal zone, but did not put obama through near as much scrutiny. When you add in that he has been buddying up to the muslims after being elected and attacking American citizens, more people are getting tired of this garbage.
Another source of peoples anxiety is that obama is using the full force of the federal government to attack his political enemies and is not working for the protection of our country and it’s citizens. He is not an honorable or honest man and as time goes by, more of his character is on display. What happens next, I cannot predict, but if he is allowed to continue on his merry path, we will not recognize our country in a few short years. I have some real good friends who fled Venezuela because of what chavez was doing and now they are amazed and scared at how obama is following chavez pattern.
