At least part of this is due (I think) to the fact that there were people who got out to vote for BO on Nov. 4, 2008 who ordinarily wouldn’t bother to get to the polls for any other election.

Yep. Most of Obama's natural constituency votes only once every four years, if that. I've known people like that all my life. Believe me, they aren't even aware that an election is occurring.

MEANWHILE...I was at the Arizona Federation of Republican Woman convention this weekend and we are JAZZED UP!!! We have record numbers of people joining up and we are ready to take back Congress with CONSERVATIVE candidates.

The loneliest table was the McCain table. I actually had a nasty “discussion” with the McCain people until his guy actually told me he was, himself, a lot more conservative than McCain. McCain called during the banquet to talk to us and it was completely uninspired. He just generates NO excitement. Next week Chris Simcox is coming to town..he might be the guy we’re waiting for to beat McCain. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Too much artificial sweetener makes for a nasty after taste.

One day's work a month on Afghanistan leaves him lots of time to campaign!

Without the fraudulent votes (far more commonplace in national elections) it’s almost impossible for the libs to win. They know it. That’s why they always campaign as conservatives. The only ones stupid enough to campaign as liberal are Republicans supported by the RNC ...think New York 23rd.
