Things seem to be looking up for conservatives. Important books like Mark R. Levin’s “Liberty and Tyranny” and Michelle Malkin’s “Culture of Corruption”, are also wildly popular. Glenn Beck and his colleagues at Fox are mopping up the competition. Sarah Palin has had a monstrous, unprecedented reception for her unpublished memoirs. And even usually tone-deaf, main stream Republicans seem able to say “no” occasionally to the liberal governing machine.
But most uplifting is the birth of a grass roots conservative populism, an aggressive, fearless, public energy against big government unlike anything any of us on the right has ever seen.
As I listen to my fearful and passionate fellow citizens, I am reminded of that most American of directors, Frank Capra, but not because of “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” or “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Rather, for the spirit Capra captured in his revolutionary World War II documentary series, “Why We Fight”. That America could slip through our hands before our children inherit it, is the reason we conservatives fight.
Indeed we fight for and against many things, concretely for a new 2010 Congress. Doug Hoffmann running as a conservative in New York’s 23rd is an ideal warrior. We must continue to insist that the men and women who lead us, express ideas that assure the millions at tea parties and town halls that something will be done to save the country we love. And then we must support them. Doug Hoffmann embodies many of the positions of a seven-point template addressing health care, Afghanistan, jobs, deficits, energy, governance and trust reflecting some of the mob’s concerns.

My thinking is that NY-23 is a test by the GOP to see if we will blindly elect whoever they shove at us.
And our blindingly clear answer to that has to be H no.
And we need to stay on that path and continue to turn our backs and walk away from RINOs. We are being heard but the govt is sill moving full steam ahead with these bs programs Americans don't want. Thus, we need to turn up the heat and reject those who don't represent us and support the new breed of Conservatives who are challenging the establishment. The momentum is building in this direction.
Tonight on GRETA, Newt maintained that Hoffman does not live in this district. That is troubling.
Is this a major problem? He can move to the district can’t he? The Kennedy’s move to wherever there is a good district they can run in. And then there’s the Hillary Clinton story about not even living in NY until she ran for Senator there.
I am done voting for RINOS I have been voting for Rinos since Reagan and it has not helped it just delay it It is time to turn the country if we can not do it. The country deserves what it gets. Same way we do not want people telling us about gun We can not tell them to vote conservative. If Obama or the next Democrat trashes the country so be it! They will learn then maybe and it will hurt a lot more than fixing it now. The country has to change now. I am going to put my faith in God to watch over me and our country and I am going to vote for the right person not the lessor of 2 evils any more!
We also need to call shows like Hannity and tell him to stop putting on slimy RINOs like Newt on his shows.
WE NEED TO SEND HOFFMAN MONEY. TODAY.
