Same thing in Kalifornia. I am getting out as soon as it makes financial sense — gotta sell the house and that is a problem.

Things are settling down a bit — targeting the next year or so. I have spent a few years in Texas, so I will move as near to DFW as I can get, since I travel so much.

I am not going to stay where I am not wanted. When someone says “you work too hard and are too frugal — you must be punished,” I take that as a sign I am not wanted.
