Rush Limbaugh livid: GOP has death wish
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | October 27, 2009

Talk-radio icon Rush Limbaugh says the Republican Party has a death wish – and is as dangerous to the United States as the Democrat Party and its czars.

Limbaugh's comments came today as he was discussing the race for Congress in New York's 23rd district, where the GOP picked a liberal nominee to oppose a liberal Democrat, passing over a conservative candidate who wanted to represent the GOP, a candidate now pursuing the seat as a third-party candidate.

"They have a death wish. The Republican Party has a death wish. Gallup: 40 percent of Americans now say they are conservative, 20 percent say they're liberal, 36 percent say they're moderates. And of those three groups, which one is being ignored – not just ignored – which one is being attacked by the Republican Party? The conservatives! " Limbaugh said today.

"It's worse than I thought. I thought this was just based on elitism and northeast moderate liberalism, and embarrassment of the people that the social issues attract to the party. But now it's just plain stupidity," he continued.

Right on, Rush!

Stay on target, and keep the pressure on them!

We are with you!

I was thinking again today of switching to (I) or Libertarian, but then I can't vote in the Primaries in PA. That is where you get things done.

It is going to be a state by state battle to unseat the Rino’s of GOP. No third party, but an alternative GOP candidate sound fine to me. A candidate who will vote with the Conservative GOP..no matter what flag they fly at election time.

We just have to beat the key Rinos first, a few will flee the battlefield after that. Then round 2 and 3 get a few more key Rinos by 2016 we can be rid of all that matter.
Steele should go too, he has been around for all these Dede business.

for the last century,

the progressive democrats and rinos

have played good cop and bad cop

alternately on the long march to socialism

and globalism.

Newt has been in this camp for a while now. Shouldn’t be a surprise.

I tend to believe the poll numbers. They also partially explain the frequently low voter turn out, especially when the choice is between evil and only slightly lesser evil. They also explain the anger toward republicans and the strong emotional support someone like Sarah Palin receives.

At some point, either the republicans move toward conservatives or solid, conservative, independent candidates will run and they will take votes away from both the demonrats and the republicans.

I know I will. I'd rather cast my one little vote for someone I believe in than for some lesser evil to keep a bigger evil out. I've been doing that for years and all it does is encourage the republicans to running even more lesser evils.

I cannot stand Newt Gingrich.

Gingrich became an enemy to the American people the instant that he went on MSNBC and lashed into Rush Limbaugh as "irrational."

Gingrich attacked Rush because Rush indicated that he wanted Obama's totalitarian policies to fail.

Gingrich and the other entrenched RINOs of the GOP are helping the democrats send our Republic straight into the fires of hell.

When Rush starts talking about third party stuff

As you suggest, Rush has never supported third party revolts. And he has been very careful not to criticize the party, or President Bush while he was in office.

But I think you could draw a different conclusion. Yes, normally, it's stupid to vote third party. You are wasting your vote. But this situation isn't normal. Every time the Republicans have screwed up and blown it over the past six or eight years, they have returned to their vomit and eaten it again.

It may be that the party simply is unfixable. We are reaching that stage. Either they get their act together now, and hold an enormous purge of the dimwits who are doing this stupid stuff, or the party is dead.

I agree that it's foolish to be a stupid purist. But that's not where we are right now. And the New York 23rd is a perfect example of where we have gotten to. Beyond stupid. The party has about one week to prove it is not dead and buried and ready to be replaced. It's had a good run of 150 years, and that's about as long as most political parties last, before falling to pieces.

Sure there is.

They're more afraid of conservative victory than they are of communism.
