It is bad when an anchor from a sister network feels compelled to call out a colleague about the lack of ideological balance, but that's just what CNBC's Larry Kudlow did on his Oct. 27 program.
In a time when some of CNBC's critics demand the network be held to a high standard when it comes to balance, a different standard is applied to MSNBC. And lack of balance is something Kudlow pointed out.
Kudlow, referring to the Oct. 26 broadcast of MSNBC's "The Ed Show," which featured Rep. Barney Frank, perennial presidential candidate Ralph Nader and the host Ed Schultz, noted all the participants were left-of-center. And in the appearance, Frank made a pitch for the expanded role of government and argued the only reason people opposed it was because they were disillusioned by the government for its failures during the Bush administration, specifically dealing with Hurricane Katrina.

I watch the Ed Show almost every day and he is a ‘single payer health plan’ progressive. So he is selling that, and attacking conservatives and republicans and anyone dissing most democrats.
To be fair, Ed always has at least one republican guest on his show, and he typically lets them finish their point. Some of the republicans really get some strong points across ripping dems.
Shows like Ed Schulz are good for seeing what the liberals are up to, Ed is calling for democrat heads to roll.

Daily I thank God that there are a few of us with enough fortitude to be able to stomach stuff like that! It is the best way to see what they’re up to, but honestly...I wouldn’t have the strength! The rest of us depend on folk like you to be our eyes and ears.

CNBC slamming MSNBC? Kinda like spittin’ in the ocean.
MSNBC Schulz and Maddow are leading the democrat progressive movement, the best part , and example of the icing on the cake was last night(from my last night's comment):
Yesterday (Monday night) all the progressives flooded MSNBC to cry victory on the public option, Harry Reid had the votes for the public option. Pelosi got on and said she had the votes too. Victory !! Harry Reid was king. You know I immediately smelled a rat!
Well today (Tuesday night) on MSNBC it was hang-them time. Hang Joe Leiberman(kick him out of party), hang Harry Reid (defeat him at the polls) and hang a couple more of the Senate democrats. Leiberman is really being used as the scapegoat by progressives. Notice Reid is protecting him.

Kudlow’s one of the last honest anchors on any of the NBC affiliated networks. Unfortunately for Larry, it’s like spitting into the wind over there. If Larry gets pulled, it will be lights-off for CNBC in my household and I bet I’m not alone.
The fact that Barney Frank is one of the leaders shaping economic policy and regulation for this Administration is frightening — and that’s one of the only things that Larry says that’s wrong (because he’s so polite): Barney Frank is NOT a smart guy, otherwise he’d recognize the idiocy of pushing the tired, failed philosophy of statism and big government. As a result, one can only conclude that he’s a dunce.
What about the failure of the Bush Adminstration to get
enough H1N1 vaccine to the public? Minority children are
