Be sure to watch the video that is referenced in the text. Why anyone who still has two neurons firing would even listen to Garofalo is beyond me.

“In a much publicized rant that sent chills up the legs of millions of liberals, oops, progressives, Janeane Garofalo emphatically exercised her opinion of the millions of ‘tea-party’ protestors: “This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism, straight up. Its is nothing but a bunch of tea-bagging rednecks.”

If they made comments like this hate crimes I might be for it. I’m sick of hearing this sh**!

Sowell,... actually documents the origins and evolution of the redneck culture. He makes the excellent, and unchallenged point that the inner-city culture celebrated by many blacks today is, in fact, derived directly from the redneck culture - which had its origins in England.

If I recall correctly, James Webb makes the same point in Born Fighting.

garafollo is popular with the media becuase they are all alike. Our grandparents were right about you can judge someone by the company they keep. Kind of like the guy who plays president on tv.

‘Why anyone who still has two neurons firing would even listen to Garofalo is beyond me.’

Absolutely correct. She’s clearly an idiot.

She’s mad because she’s never been tea-bagged. No one’s every been drunk enough to even bothering trying.

Funny how someone objects to alleged racism by using racist terms.
