CBS4 I-Team Investigator Stephen Stock went undercover with other I-Team member to find suspect medical clinics operating in South Florida one step ahead of the law.

The grainy, shaky undercover video tape shot by the CBS4 I-Team shows dozens of...........

For the record, I do not think that CBS' undercover videotape is entrapment. But I also don't think that Okeefe's tapes were entrapment either

Now, for the consistency. I'm sure many around here will remember how complicit progressive journalists were all running around claiming 'entrapment' regarding the ACORN tapes.

Does that not make this also entrapment? Or is it only entrapment when undercover tapes are made for groups that the fifth column wishes to protect?

CBS 60 Minutes, on Sunday night, actually had a good piece on Medicare Fraud. I viewed it on youtube. They said at the outset, it would make your blood pressure rise, and give you second thoughts about the government trying to run more healthcare when they can’t even manage Medicare fraud.

Here's how federal investigators say the Medicare scam works: local medical clinics pay recruiters to bring groups of Medicare patients and their numbers to the clinic.

But the patients don't get any real medical treatment.

And instead of paying the doctor, the doctor or medical clinic pays them!

Then the clinics bill Medicare tens of thousands of dollars for services not needed and in most cases they are services which are not delivered.

"If you're getting a $100 from one place you're getting $200 from another place," said the FBI informant. "We averaged about $700 to $900 a day every Monday, Wednesday, Friday (for years)."

Nice work if you can get it.

That was a great 60 minute segment and should be followed up.

This is not entrapment, this fraud is rampant and should be stopped. Good for that news crew!

We dont need a new Health Care Reform bill to clean up Midecare fraud. All it takes is an attorney General that can get his head out of Obama’s butt long enough to do his job.

I saw something on the medicare fraud front, I don’t know if it was 60 minutes and yes....... it makes me fume.

But the media’s double standard makes me fume just as much.

The acorn tapes were just as legitimate! But these a holes didn’t agree with the content, so they use talking points like ‘entrapment’ to try to downplay the tapes.

They need to send Iteams into every ACORN office in america.

But they won’t do that.

ACORN is a protected species in liberal newsrooms.

First you must understand what the term means. Briefly, entrapment is when you present a false set of facts and entice people to act on them. The question then is, would they have done the same thing without the false presentation.

From the legal definition: On the other hand, if the evidence leaves a reasonable doubt whether the person had any intent to commit the crime except for inducement or persuasion on the part of some Government officer or agent, then the person is not guilty.

Buy yourself a van and white coat and volunteer to do medical driving in Atlanta, you'll be in the money in no time.
