I just don't see why people were calling her a liberal so vigorously, but then were surprised at this. Did they not really believe what they were preaching before?
This is good news, for it shows how wrong the Republican leadership is. Maybe Republican primary voters will take heed, but I doubt it.

In my GOP upstate town, many dems switched registration to GOP just to have a chance at having a seat at the table. You have to keep a scorecard to tell the rats from the pubs. You sure can’t be lazy and just vote for the “R”. Third, fourth and fifth parties get a lot of votes here.

It has become abundantly clear that no matter which party gains power, Government at all levels just keeps growing and growing, albeit in different directions.
