Will a switch to “I” keep you out of the 2010 primaries where your vote would have more weight than in a general election? Democratic leaders would be glad to know that you are going “I”.
I haven’t switched yet.
However, I am tired of voting against candidates. The Republican party does not represent my views anymore. The are only marginally better than the Democrats. I am going to start voting for the candidate I like best and the chips can fall where they may.
John McCain. That’s the best they could do last election. Versus Romney. Not much of a choice in the primaries.
