But we don't live in a perfect world, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Rudy's endorsement will have a positive influence on Hoffman's victory.
As I said once before, if you're interested in Hoffman's winning the election, this is a good thing.
If you're not, I'm not sure there's any more to be discussed.
My interest here deals less with Hoffman winning. I believe he will. I'm more concerned with Rudy's Johnny-come-lately arrival to the aid of someone who seems to be a true conservative.
If he tries to parlay this support into another national run down the road, I've got a problem with it. He's not a true conservative and shouldn't waste our time masquerading as one.
If he wants to be NYC mayor or NY gov, fine by me. If a future President wants to make him AG, I probably wouldn't object. I wouldn't want him on the SC and I definitely wouldn't want him as the nominee for Prez. We've seen that movie.
