Yep .. apparently the promoter was ‘over-hyping’ it
as some kind of wild and fractious political debate,
which it never was to be.
I had a difficult time seeing our Dubyah even
getting involved, but who knows what he was
originally sold.
What an absolutely awesome and beautiful Anniversary Tribute
to an elegant and wonderful couple!
How I MISS them!! *sigh*
Thank you for all your hard work!
I am glad he isn’t going to do that “debate” or whatever
it was supposed to be. It would be more of Clinton sucking
up to the Bushes, and that just makes me feel very uncomfortble!
Hey Ohio!
Great pics. Call me an old softie, but I still have the picture I got of GWB and Laura from the WH (she’s wearing a pink suit) up in my den.
Did anyone see Biggest Loser last night? Boy, the way the fussed over the ‘healthy’ Obamas. Did the producers forget that GWB, a man maybe 15-20 years older than Zero, had a resting heart rate of 65? That he ran, biked, and did ranch chores. You have to be healthy for all that, you liberal idiots.
Thank you for sharing.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO GEORGE AND LAURA BUSH - GOD BLESS YOU!!!
That definitely would have been worth the price of admission. :) I am kind of glad, though, that the event isn't going to take place.
Thanks, DrDeb! I think your assessment is correct-—they meant it for snark, but it came out sweet!
Thank you for sharing these, Luvya! I will look at them tomorrow. Laura is the epitome of a lady—that is for sure.
I did! :) Thank you so much for taking the time (a lot!) to reformat it for FR. I am so glad you did. It was lovely to see online again. Posting here at our GWB home thread was a good idea. I hope we get many visitors who will enjoy your amazing tribute!
I love how you expressed yourself here, radiohead! :)
I am in total agreement with you---it drives me crazy how the media fawns over the Obama's health and ignored GWB who was in (and still is) amazing shape! I also think that if GWB smoked, as apparently BHO does, we would have heard much more about it.
Just so you know, though, the media is not biased.
absolutely wonderful (as usual).. thank you for letting us have a graphic party to honor their anniversary!
Thanks so much for posting that Anniversary Tribute and for the work it took to make it so well done!
How we miss them!
LOVE this..Thank you!
Thanks for the Memories....
Photos that never made the cover of supermarket magazines, never made the evening news, never made the late night shows, that many/most Americans are totally ignorant of their existence...
Amen, 4integrity. AMEN!
It was my pleasure, but also my sorrow to do this.
What we have lost!
I'm wondering what I'm going to do without a George W. Bush calendar this year. The one I got for 2009 was an encouragement for me in these dark months of this year with a Marxist criminal in the White House.
And no one EVER paid attention to how fit President Bush was. I really do hate the media.
Happy to share, NordP. Beautiful people!
I'm not. George W. Bush is a very gracious man, but this would be an excellent opportunity for him to highlight the successes of his Presidency, while subtly pointing out the roots of the economic problems that occurred. He wouldn't even have to blame Clinton for them; he could put that squarely in the lap of Congress! ;o)
So sadly true, and I believe they resent him for it, as can be clearly seen by their facial expressions when he deigns to graces them with his presence. ;o)
