Would you answer that way if the woman instead was saying she was having an abortion that afternoon, killing her child not to mention wounding herself? I feel it's never good to cower from the devil, as long as you state things in a kind and Christian fashion, which the man in this article was doing. He took a "hit" for being Christian. While the Brookstone higher-ups gave it a full thumbs down, God, however (the Ultimate "higher-up"), loves that sort of thing.

This is a policy issue for a business....if you wanna go this way, alright....this kid did not cower from the devil, kudo’s for him...but he paid a price for confronting the devil, he lost his job..with all due respect for you and your religious beliefs, you are an idiot....

Dealing with this sort of thing requires wisdom... keep in mind Christ's admonition "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces." and recall when the Pharasies tried to entrap him, he did not respond with a direct answer to their attempt, but with "let those who have not sinned cast the first stone". So, sometimes confrontation is not the correct action. But, as I said, every situation requires wisdom.
