A last-minute poll of New York's suddenly significant 23rd District interim House race shows that with less than 12 hours before voting begins, the Conservative/Republican candidate Doug Hoffman has built a 5-point lead over Democrat Bill Owens.
But the newfound allies of Hoffman and the Republican National Committee had best hold off on the champagne purchases. The undecided voters there have doubled to nearly 1 in 5, making the final hours volatile.

The symbolism comes in two forms: It's seen as a microscopic referendum on the Obama-Biden spending agenda.

Would love to, except being on the other side of the country puts a damper on things.

“Would love to, except being on the other side of the country puts a damper on things.”
Well, maybe you’ll bump this thread when I’m not here, so the 23rd district will see it. :)
Sounds like the LA Times is hoping against hope.
“Intrade has Hoffman’s chances of winning at 74.0, an all time high. At this point, it’s getting towards a lock. Of course, poll turnout will tell the tale.

Wow, and you’re right: “poll turnout will tell the tale.”
If it's seen as that and Hoffman loses, then it's time tune out, turn on, and load up!
“Watch for the little ACORNs trying to grow the votes in NY 23 into mighty oaks.”
That’s why pro-life, conservatives (especially) need to vote, and get their friends to vote - to make up for voter fraud from the left.
Didn't stop me! I voted absentee...from Texas!
The recounting will likely go on for months and will likely be decided by a judge.
The media will only play it up if the Democrats win as “referendum on Obama”, if they lose.... *crickets*
That is exactly what they will do. I can almost hear the “spin”, the bullshit “talking points” right now, particularly if they lose.
“The recounting will likely go on for months and will likely be decided by a judge.”
Maybe not, if there’s a large conservative turnout at the polls.
I hope and pray that is true, and that the voter fraud is out done.
Hopefully, Hoffman won’t get Al-franken-ated by Acorns.
For Hoffman to win voters If all their names on one ballot there won’t be this problem.
But if its a separate per party candidate paper ballot voters will have to get a Conservative Party Ballot. If this is the case there can be some confusion here. Its going to depend if there are different styles of ballots issued by the sundry counties in this huge congressional district.
When “Scuzzy” declared for the Democrat I don’t know what the Hoffman response was but and it depends on voter attitudes in certain precincts of the district... Hoffman could have urged those voters to .....If she really felt “Big tent “Republicanism” means including “Liberals” let it be referendum on that and vote for Dede rather than let one party control the system....
Why ? The answer should be obvious...But if you don’t get it....Its less votes for the democrat who she’s pushing.

Go for it 23....let the shot be heard around the country....
