What I love about Hoffman is how dull he is. Not a great speaker or big personality, but a sober, sensible man, right on all the facts. A deliberate CPA and entrepreneur. A numbers guy. Independently wealthy. Not looking to feed at the trough. Love him.

honestly ... he is a little dorky looking, LOL. That was my first thought too but really, who do you want taking care of your money? I saw a quotation one time - supposedly from Bill Gates - it said be nice to the geeks on the playground - they're going to be your bosses some day.
He's a successful businessman. We need more successful business men/women running this country. Politicians suck.
