Conservatism is the soul of our nation [Chris Simcox challenges McCain]

Many thanks to Jim Robinson and Hildy who encouraged me to post here. I don't do much blogging or posting other than Facebook so you can go over there to learn more about me and my platform. I am running for the U.S. Senate in Arizona. I will be a primary challenger to John McCain. I am a Constitutional conservative. I need your support in our effort to right the wrongs of how our federal government operates and repeal bad laws, regulations and protect states. Thanks for taking the time to read all this and yes I look forward to your feedback. I'm just a common man, a citizen who decided to stand up and be counted when I started the citizen border watch movement, the first Tea party in what is now an amazing renaissance of conservatism that is the soul of our nation. Chris Simcox

A 500 mile circuit from Phoenix to Kingman, Lake Havasu and back through the long straight roads into Wickenberg strengthened my resolve as a conservative candidate. I never stray from the marker I set on my priciples that have been learned, and earned as I approach my 49th birthday this month. This is the month that has validated my campaign. I am a Christian, Constitutional, conservative family oriented man. I understand the job I am applying for as a public servant and I will never waiver from my civic duty and constitutional oath on as I have done since I took up post on our southern border after the attacks of 9-11-01.

To Thine own self be true, and true to my mission to lead a citizen reform movement in the most socially divisive of issues, we laid down a marker at our borders, stood in defense of our sovereignty and demanded respect for our citizenship and rule of law - I have never wavered and never will. The people of Arizona are responding. I would not be wasting your time or mine if I was not absolutely committed to winning this Senate seat for the people of Arizona. As a federalist senator I'll stand strong on a no-nonsense Constitutional approach to protecting our rights as free people. I will defend our states' ability to allow people to work and live free of federal regulation. And I will protect America's freedom from Internal treaties that cede our sovereignty or are ability to defend our nation.

Thank you to the Kingmen Republican Women's Club, The London Bridge Women's Republican Club and the Lake Havasu Men's Republican Club

The following article by Lee Cary sums it up perfectly - please support my campaign tomorrow with a $25-$50 contribution to send a message to the establishment that we the people are ready to get the job done the RIGHT way. Remember the 5th of November! Chris Simcox www.simcoxforsenate.com

"Meanwhile, we’re in the middle of an improper fundraiser, and I choose not to play. I encourage others to not participate, either."

Looks to me like you're off your meds again. - You need not contribute - that's your choice, but there is nothing improper here. Jim has given his consent; for those that disagree, there are other websites.

Now someone explain why anyone in the party would challenge McCain? This late in the game the only reason any other candidate would jump in?- a shill to bleed off support from me to insure McCain wins. That’s how unions, whoops I mean political parties work - for those hungry for power sometimes means to sacrifice now for a job opportunity later down the line.

Single issue candidate and “activist.” No dice, although he would be far preferable to Captain Queeg.

Mr. Simcox,

Below is a video link to an interview you did as a minuteman. You say “Illegals should be put in work camps and shot on site...”

While I commend you for speaking your mind, how will these statements do anything but hurt your chances?

Yep, another ridiculous claim fueled by the maniacal individual. The suit was thrown out of court with prejudice over a year and a half ago. Campbell helped build the fence then wanted his money back - did not fly with the courts.

Speaking the truth should never hurt your chances. However, that video was heavily and cleverly edited. 2003, and yes an early mistake to even mention in any context, even if Osama Bin Laden were to be caught coming across the border illegally he should not be shot on sight - right?
My comments were in relation to the drug cartels, which was not included, the same happened in an early interview in the L.A. Times Sunday magazine article.
Nit pick it to death - I don’t have the time to belabor a single interview out of thousands given over the span of eight years.
Next?

Click on Chris Answers the critics right side, scroll down.
Look for the audio files and take a listen to my response to the “Walk in the Park” set up conducted by the feds.
Take the time to hear it from my side.
Also, have the response to the Minuteman financial BS too.
Take the time to listen to it.

I just watched that video.

Please tell me how you will counter the obvious DemocRAT compaign ads made from your own words.

I am sympathetic to your cause and campaign (I’ve donated to both) but that video gives the opposition enough material to make Senator Allen’s “Macaca” moment seem like small potatoes.

Opinion by Ernesto Portillo Jr. : Minutemen attacked by new critics: the right

"..Last year Simcox called Campbell “a great American.” This week the Minuteman border fence Web site called Campbell’s lawsuit a “nuisance,” “baseless” and “political sabotage.”.."

The lawsuit was dropped at Campbell's request, not "thrown out" by the court.

With Regard to Campbell's Lawsuit: Mr. Campbell's Response

"..Chris Simcox has again distorted the truth with his statement:

"Now that the MCDC has seen a legal challenge to its fence construction in the matter of Campbell v. Minuteman Civil Defense Corps fully resolved in the organization’s favor ...".

The dismissal of my lawsuit was entirely at my request. In making my request, I was fully aware that the case would be dismissed "with prejudice", which is legal parlance for saying that I am forever barred from bringing a lawsuit on the same claim or cause in Arizona State Court. None of the issues raised in my complaint were resolved and there were no attempts to reach any kind of a settlement. There was no adjudication of the merits of my case. Therefore, Chris Simcox's statement on 10/06, to the volunteers that the case was "dismissed without merit" is completely unfounded. Thus, this whole sordid affair is by no means "fully resolved". Additionally, my lawsuit did nothing to prevent the continued construction of the fence. Any blame for the state of abandonment of the fence project rests squarely on the shoulders of Chris Simcox and the people he has chosen to align himself with.

There are other legal options/recourses available to me which are broader in scope to include every donor who has donated money to not only the MCDC, but to Declaration Alliance and Declaration Foundation, as well.

When taking these aforementioned "options/recourses" into consideration, I realized that - first and foremost - I had an obligation to deal in good faith with the court; and dismissal of my Arizona State Court lawsuit was a logical and appropriate step to take at this point in time.

Finally, this dismissal is - by no means - to be interpreted by anyone as a step backwards or a diminution of my resolve to obtain justice. It would be completely inappropriate for me - nor do I any longer have the latitude - to comment on where this matter is at this point in time..."

Welcome, and pleased to read in your own words.

Now there are a contingent of ‘compassionate’ moderate Republicans that hate one issue voters and sometimes they call US purists, or ‘value voters’.

Remember everything is a pocket book issue. And how much is the government taking from me today. Do not forget the notion of what some people call compassion. Cheap laborers for them HIGHER TAXES for you and me. Lord McCain is not going down without a fight and it will be fun to point out his compassionate ways.

I do not live in Arizona, but I will be cheering on any candidate that is NOT afraid of the big bad wolf lord McCain.

Campbell makes a fool of himself. - He obviously asked to back out of the suit because he realized that he had no case, but he wants to retain grumbling rights.

Just a typical case of “second thoughts” where there were insufficient first thoughts.

"Our nominees were Eisenhower, Eisenhower, Nixon, Goldwater, Nixon, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Reagan, Bush, Bush, Dole, Bush, Bush, McCain."

Your keyboard has some sort of repeating glitch in it.
