BREAKING: Gerry Connolly Tries To Get Constituent Arrested
Black Velvet Bruce Li ^ | 11/05/2009 | Greg L

Today there are lots of people trying to lobby their elected officials on the health care bill pending in Congress, and Gerry Connolly tried to get one of them arrested on false charges of assault, setting a new standard for utterly abysmal, beyond-the-pale horrible constituent service. This guy is absolutely unbelievable.

Connolly is trying to claim he wasn’t aware anyone would want to meet with him today, and is refusing to talk to anyone standing in the long, long line of constituents that are snaking out of his office door and well down the hallway. Instead, his staffers are telling folks that they need to fill out a form where they can write down what they want to say to him while Connolly hides in his office and won’t talk to anyone. Connolly left his office about an hour or so ago, and a small woman, about 4ft 8in touched his arm, trying to get his attention long enough to say a few words to him as he tried to flee.

Connolly then reacts like he’s been bitten by a snake, and starts ranting on to her that what she did was assault him, that assault is a felony, and he is going to have this woman, who couldn’t have weighed more than 110 pounds ARRESTED. Connolly then charges down the hall yelling to the capitol police, WHO THEN TAKE CONNOLLY’S CONSTITUENT INTO CUSTODY. The police talk to this woman for about two minutes, and people in the crowd who witnessed this event give their take on this. The woman is then released, and allowed back in the line to fill out a form where she can express her opinion.

Meanwhile, Gerry Connolly has retreated to an undisclosed location, far away from his constituents.

Go to this interesting blog site for the rest ..

Target # 1 for 2010 is Pelosi. Since all of the crossdressers in her district are farther Left than her, I'm probably dreaming on that one. But we can move Connolly up the list, along with Murtha, and .. heck .. everyone else with a (D) at the end of their name!

The Republicans should approach the Blue Dogs and offer to caucus with them for the purpose of voting OUT Nancy Pelosi in favor of a more centrist speaker.

Cheers!

Pelosi should not be our target. We need to target the Blue Dogs and others at risk. Pelosi will give us the ammo to do it, we just need to be willing to use it.

These people are scared because they have much of which to be ashamed. They are serving themselves with this power grab that is detrimental to the people that they supposedly serve.

I agree that we can’t get Pelosi out since those loons in her district might actually vote in a worse alternative.

..BUT..

We need to make her and ZER0 the national faces of the 2010 election. All the while working to oppose Dims locally.

Have you seen a picture of this fat, ugly, arrogant 8asta&d? Can’t wait to visit his office SOON. He clearly hasn’t had enough experience interacting with his constituents.

I arrived around 11:45am to hear The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" blasting through the loud speakers. Awesome! Great day. Absolutely mobbed.

Michele started her speech by saying, "You came!"

That is so typical of him. Cowardly, smug, arrogant, “above it all.” Many of us her have reasons to believe he is a crook, and if not had some amazingly accidental conflicts of interest while he was on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. I will not go into his advocacy for illegal aliens, because it makes my head hurt. He is a puke. Did I mention he looks like he’s Henry Waxman’s cousin? I think he might be vulnerable next year if we can come up with the right candidate to run against him.

He’s freaked out about the Virginia election, scared senseless that he’ll be corzined in November 2010.

He probably figured his seat was as safe given that Crazy Fairfax has gone blue. Until last Tuesday when, his district went for McDonnell and no doubt blew his little mind.

As a huge fan of the Who, I was loving it! There was an incident at a PA congrescritters office while I was seeking out my member. Something about a staffer kicking the door while constituents were trying to get in.

You know, when this is all over, however long it takes, I just want to put a Nativity Scene up in front of the courthouse downtown...and have it stay throughout the entire holiday season without threat of lawsuits. That’s when we get back to normal I guess...

Oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit...even I just used "holiday season" versus just saying Christmas.

God, let it be over soon. Stop the government...I want off.
