FORT HOOD, Texas – The base commander at Fort Hood says soldiers who witnessed a shooting rampage that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire at the Texas post.
Lt. Gen. Robert Cone told NBC's "Today" show on Friday that suspected shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, made the comment, which is Arabic for "God is great!" before the rampage Thursday that also left 30 people wounded.

Most of the morons at DummyUnderground are concerned that bigotry against Muslims will spread because of this incident. Yes, that's right, let's not be concerned about the guy screaming Allah Ak-Bar while he was shooting innocent soldiers. Let's forget that inconvenient fact. Surprisingly there were a few Dummys who saw it for what it was: a demented Islamist killing Americans.
There were a few Dummies who brought up his ethnicity. But the great majority of posters cared more about Islam being defamed over the fact that the guy was a nutty Islamist. Few of them are ever able to draw the right conclusion about anything.
This Hasan has been a live one for a long time, even suggestiong that more Muslims should attack and kill us after the Arkansas recruiter was killed.
Hopefully he will get the same sentence that Akbar got...and hopefully, unlike Akbar, it will be carried out swiftly.
Maybe they can have a double execution, executed by firing squad with pig-blood soaked bullets, having them fall into a trench of pig entrails before being buried there.

No, but we had several REGIMENTS of American-born Japanese ancestry citizens, who served with honor and distinction, and received UNIT citations.
And we had hundreds of thousands of Americans of German ancestry fighting in both World War I and II who were loyal, hardcore Americans who despised what the Nazis were doing. Remember, this country fro its inception had a HUGE German immigrant population.

Your argument is a straw man. Islam has declared war on the West, but Islam is not a nation. Military men and women that we have entrusted with our defense cannot have divided loyalties on the battlefield, particularly where they are fighting alongside non-muslims against other Muslims. Blending into the military loyalists to a movement whose holy book teaches that non-muslims must be "sent to hell" places American soldiers at risk - whether you want to admit this or not.
The defense of this nation is paramount. National security trumps hurting people's feelings or political correctness - or at least it should.
Following a religion is a choice, not a birthright. And choices have consequences...

There were in fact Japanese “loyalists” sending intelligence reports (i.e., Pearl Harbor) to embassy spies overseas as well - hence the roundup and internment of Japanese.
That worked when this was a majority white country (90+%) back then, with tightly-controlled immigration and checks on those coiming in to the country, and an assimilation time for those already here to become Americanized.
