When I first heard he was to address the shootings (on radio — I have no TV) the first thing I heard was applause! the crowd applauding Obama! I thought ‘ WTF?’
Then I was amazed to hear him addresing some group. then he said a Dr. Crow was a Medal of Honor winner — he meant medal of freedom.
then he called Fort Hood a ‘base’. That’s Navy. Fort Hood is a post. Army.
I could not believe it. Also, I could not believe the radio news (I guess it was ABC) allowed the whole address to the native american group to go on first with it’s shout-outs etc. before he got to the Fort Hood massacre.

At 2:26 into the the video he is starts the sentence “There has been a tragic shooting..” He stumbles over ‘shooting’ (as in s-shooting). Trying to decide if he has trouble with the word or it is a defect in the audio.
They (Fox) appear to have depleted their limited stash of integrity.
The guy Obama acknowledged as a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient WASN’T!
He had been awarded a civilian medal by Obama himself, a Medal of Freedom award or something like that.
Nothing like slamming every CMO recipient by confusing heroic actions in battle with a civilian that got a medal for doing excellent paperwork....
President Bush was staying put as the Secret Service told him to. They needed time to determine what was going on and where they were going to move him. The media portrayed it as Bush not knowing what he was doing, but he was doing EXACTLY what he needed to do. Let people who have jobs to do do them.

Obama's "shout-out" IMO was as intentional as his initial failure in condemning the Little Rock terrorist attack. In both cases, Obama agrees with the shooters.
Many Americans understand quite clearly that Obama is a terrorist sympathizer (he was raised as a muslim, how can he be otherwise).
But there is still a large group who just can't quite accept that the president of the U.S. can be so traitorous. The latter group will eventually accept the truth despite the fact that it is so outrageously hard to swallow.
