So you would just roll over and die? Heroes move forward regardless of the odds!

Come on! That's freaking disgusting.

Governor Perry should insist that a gallows be erected outside the gates of Ft. Hood and that the shooter be brought out and hung in full view of the world press. The military would never do it , of course, but Perry would be Governor for life!

re: aware of the danger, and the soldiers were not

There’s a guy in their midst and he’s shooting people left and right, some more than once. Shouldn’t that have been a clue to SOLDIERS that something was wrong and need immediate attention? There were at least 30 people in the area, that’s how many were killed or wounded. If just half of them had charged him he could have been overcome, before the officer even had a chance to fire.

Maybe the poster’s comment wasn’t worded as well as it could have been, but the point is these men were soldiers, some recently returned from combat duty. How in the world could the terrorist be able to shoot that many people without others trying to take him down? I’m not questioning anyone’s courage or decision making. Lord knows, I’ve never been in an area where someone was shooting everyone is sight, and I’ve got to seek an explanation of how it could go on for so long.

It’s a touchy subject, I know that, but with it happening more and more we need to find out how someone can shoot 30 or more people and not be stopped.

It’s an interesting irony that Kileen is the home of Ft. Hood and that’s where the guy shot up the Luby’s and killed like 26 people.

You brought up a good point. With these nutty muzzies, many soldiers should be allowed to be armed. As is, the laws provide more protection for criminal acts than self-defense.

This muzzie knew the soldiers would be unarmed.

He also believed that he would go to heaven. Islam is NOW a religion that believes murder is an act of grace. ERGO, it is satanism.

Oh the sweet irony that he was taken down by a woman.

Where are all those posters who think women have no place in law enforcement (other than answering 911 calls) and who claim they would quit before they'd have one as a partner.

Dude, you ragged on a poster for making an astute comment, and ridiculed me for calling you out. Nice try, indeed...

The lady is a hero and any deflection is just plain callous! In no way did I call the dead soldiers cowardly, but you wish to frame it that way.

Your comments speak quite eloquently.

This certainly makes the Army look bad. A female civilian cop takes out the shooter while Army men are mowed down.
That said, hooray for her. She’s a heroine. -sb #4

You should be ashamed of that comment. The cop had the advantage of being armed and aware of the danger, and the soldiers were not. -r0#8

So you would just roll over and die? Heroes move forward regardless of the odds! -wvk -39

I don't think you really meant to call the dead soldiers cowards ... but that's precisely what you said. -r0 #47

Well, maybe not so precisely, huh?

Nice try to deflect...
I was referring to the lady as a hero, but simple minds must see other things... -wvk

... and I won't have much more to say to you!

I’m glad I never ran into one of those posters. I find nothing hotter than an armed woman.

thats because the army men were largely unarmed.

Thanks, jw, for coming right out and calling the soldiers cowards. At least you have the honesty to do so.

Not having been there, I couldn't actually say why things transpired the way they did. I seriously doubt that cowardice had much to do with the casualty count, though.

The key thing is that these are people that don’t expect to be shot on their own turf. They were in a safe place, one where you are not wound up tighter than a drum. A place where you are forced to be UNARMED.

I'm sure that if they were armed, most of them would have been returning fire.

Except that this shooting wouldn't have happened if they were armed. Mohammedans don't go up against armed opponents when they can help it, they are such cowards.

Barb and others, according to a different article, a soldier was quoted as saying he was angry that there was no way to defend themselves, something they could do if this occurred overseas.

Apparently, they can’t even have their weapons with them on base.

You're reading the exchange through your own little filter, aincha? I was responding to the part where she said this makes the Army look bad.

Your comment seems to agree -- which was why I suggested that it's probably not what you meant to say.

Give it a rest.

Well said, may it haunt his every thought that his Allah saw fit to have his actions thwarted by a powerful women. I believe that this is a great fear, a powerful women that exerts her will over man and shames him.

The follow-up argument that the will the women exhibited was actually under the control of a man somewhere above her in the chain of command is as useful as a gong that makes no noise. The statement from her social network page states she knew what she was doing in her job, it was her choice and she was glad of it. It was HER, exerting HER will that stopped this islamic terrorist.

May she be blessed and have a speedy and whole recovery. May her family also be blessed.

Not everybody has to be armed to be a hero, and not all dead people are cowards!

r9, Your desire to denigrate is quite rude, and confuses me. Nobody mentioned "cowardice" until you brought it up...

Since he was a full fledged muzzie, we can assume that in his mind a woman is a second class citizen to be beaten when needed and to never speak to him in public. It must kill him (I wish it had) to know that a woman took him out.

I love it and am thouroghly enjoying the idea of the Jihadi-induced embarassment he will feel when he comes to.

Thank you, Officer Munley, and get well soon!!!

Of course the soldiers were not (armed) - if they had been, there wouldn’t have been a peep from that muzzie POS.
