Fort Hood Jihad Shooter Handed Out Korans the Morning of His Attack

He handed out Korans? But didn't what he read in the Book of Peace make him think that he shouldn't go through with the massacre?

Or maybe he read that Paradise was guaranteed to those who "kill and are killed" for Allah (9:111), and took that seriously.

Note also that he affected Islamic clothing -- as did another "moderate," Maher Hawash, before the latter embarked upon his jihad.

Bell County SWAT teams barricaded and evacuated a downtown Killeen apartment complex where Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan lived before authorities say he killed 13 people and injured 30 more during a massacre at Fort Hood Thursday.... In the morning, neighbors said Hasan handed Qurans and donated his furniture to anyone who would take it.

Neighbors described Hasan as a quiet man who began wearing "Arabic clothing" in recent weeks. Edward Windsor, a neighbor, never suspected Hasan was in the Army. Hasan's rank surprised Windsor who would never have imagined an officer with a rank of major would have lived in an apartment that rents for $350 and houses soldiers ranked as private first class....

HUGE red flag on that $350/month rent he was paying. What was he using the rest of his paycheck for? That deserves some investigation. What does a major earn? Don’t doctors get some sort of bonus pay when in the military?

I don't watch or listen to too much "media" but I doubt they'll be "reporting" the facts about this case...

Demolitions team went over the apartment inch by inch first before there was open access for investigators. Main concern has been if he had any buddies around in the area and who they might be - wanted to ID and put the clamp on them damn quick if there was. There were armed tactical assets on standby inside and outside the base through the night last night with roving patrol units that did nothing but circle the outside perimeter roads. LE all over the entire county were very alert, proactive and pissed off. Last night was not a night to be a "suspicious acting person" anywhere in the county.

 

I just pray that there aren't any copy-cat attacks at any other bases, or anywhere else for that matter. If authorities in other places are aware of any Hasan-type character in their midst they need to throw a net over the bastard asap before they go over a jihad cliff taking innocent folk with them.

I have been wondering the same thing. He’s probably been sending all his spare bucks to the Taliban.
