“Democrats were forced to make major concessions on insurance coverage for abortions to attract the final votes to secure passage, a wrenching compromise for the numerous abortion-rights advocates in their ranks.

They hope to make changes to that amendment during negotiations with the Senate, which will now become the main battleground in the health care fight as Democrats there ready their own bill for what is likely to be extensive floor debate.”

Suckers.

This is what the Dems do, lie like hell to get it passed then renege on any commitment made during the bargaining process. Yeah, Like there will be no abortion coverage in this bill.

The Democrats have no idea what hit them last Tuesday and they will have no idea what will hit them in November of 2010.

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but the Democommies are going to ram "amnesty for illegals" down our throats early next year - just in time for the 2010 elections.

They'll need a few months for their media puppets to indoctrinate the minds of the new voters, but they'll handle it.

They can have their health care victory, but when they go all in on amnesty, that's when I'll call "Fort Sumter".

Pass amnesty, and we'll have nothing left to lose.

I don’t know.

I attended yet another tea party rally today. It was very well attended, several thousand.

However, when I got on facebook and posted my pictures I realized most people were talking about football, pumpkin patches, the weather.

These are mostly conservatives. They apparently don’t have a clue or don’t care about what is happening.

How do you shake them?

I guess nobody remembers when Rostenkowski et al passed a more comprehensive Medicare with a small premium requirement in the late 1980's and Seniors actually rocked Rosty's limo in Chicago.

Old Claude Pepper of FL bellered "Hands of my Medicare" until the House repealed what was actually a pretty good law, signed by President Reagan, in just a couple of days!!!

This isn't over with YET!!!

Where is the Catholic Church in all of this? I thought the bishops were supposed to issue a letter last week during Mass.

Vote out ALL the Democrats in 2010. If the bill passes the Senate, vote for people who promise to either dismantle it or repeal it outright.

Oh, and vote out that piece of crap RINO who went over to the other side tonight.

For those from Indiana the vote was straight party. All the Democrats voted for it (Hill, Ellsworth, Visclosky, Carson and Donnelly) and all the Republicans voted against.

The enemies of America have conquered Washington first. They are going to find out that was the easy part.

Let's see how long these bastards can hold it. This isn't over by a long shot. Things will get ugly now. This isn't the America I grew up in and defended in uniform for 35+ years.

I think it's almost time, Claire...

It is time for another Revolution.

No. They'll need to pass amnesty for illegals to seal this deal.

THAT'S our Fort Sumter. Go there, and lead poisoning will commence.

Amnesty for illegals is our Fort Sumter.

If they don't pass amnesty, they'll lose the 2010 elections. So look for it early next year.

Just rememember ‘Who’ is in control? He is a lot bigger than Obama and the Dems. We as a country are spiritually bankrupt right now and God wants to bring us back to Him. I think many will seek Him during this time. We live in interesting times.

I want to give proper attribution to the FReeper that came up with this drawing; I do not know his/her name but it’s the way all patriots feel at this moment.

One Republican voted for it: Rep. Joseph Cao, a first-term Republican who holds an overwhelmingly Democratic seat in New Orleans. He’ll be the subject of much vitriol on talk radio come Monday (and rightfully so).
