I just wanted to give some Kudos to MSNBC for coming out in strong opposition against the attack on soldiers at Ft Hood this past week. There is alot of pressure on them probably to support the attack, but they did the right thing and have for the most part covered the attack as a tragedy. And the Obama administration has largely done the same thing to their credit. We have disagreements politically, but it's good to identify positive things when news outlets like MSNBC stand up and do the right thing.

Until they blame it on Bush..
You’ve lost me.
?
This is some sarcasm to say the least. Unfortunately there is so much truth to the idea that MSNBC and the Obama administration would not know how to react to the FT Hood situation.. whether to reguard to support it or be against it.
Pressure? to support the attacks? What pressure? Where would that possibly come from? It should be a DAMN GIVEN that a U.S. news media outlet would take as strong a stand as any on an attack of this nature. This is made out to sound like thay've done something noble, above-n-beyond any call of duty. Oh, horse hockey!
Sorry.. it was sarcasm
DU is another story altogether
Wow! MSNBC came out against the murder of 13 people at a military base?
This must have their newsroom and host / pundits gnashing their teeth.
Don’t worry, this is a love crime by a man who had too much compassion and could not take it anymore. The military will get the blame.
Almost there now.
Talk about an insult.
when dealing with this administration and the MSM it sure is a fine line between reality, satire and sarcasm.
congratulations on thoroughly confusing some FRiends here... :-)
Great post. Your title needs to be bumped all day.
BUMP!
The fact that some of us did not get the sarcasm speaks to the reality that is MSM and their slobbering over odumbo and his muslims views.
so many people tried to get something done but the PC climate wouldn’t allow for any questioning . and even if they had done whast Dr Finnell suggested,””He at least should have been confronted about these beliefs, told to cease and desist, and to shape up or ship out.” the whacked out muzzie would have still gone on a rampage.
Sorry...me too....after I posted it, I the thought crossed my mind...hey, was this sarcasm?
“but they did the right thing and have for the most part covered the attack as a tragedy”
Huh? A TRADEGY?
No, this is a TERRORIST ATTACK. Might have been by one lone nutjob, but it was one nonetheless.
Ooohh, ok. Sorry, I thought you were serious.
British press have already reported that he told a neighbor that he planned to do Gods work while he gave the neighbor his koran just before the attacks.
He then shouts allah as he shoots and we have the so called media saying this was not terrorism nor was it connected to Islam
screw this I am fed up of these idiots telling me a bunch of lies and as for FOX who are tip toeing over this, well then can go screw too now.
Shep smith didn’t even want to report the name for crying out loud
He should be fired as should that idiot named Geraldo
Does anyone actually watch these two buffoons anymore???????
I love subtlety! It’s a little dangerous on FR and the Internet, though! ;-)
We’ve fallen so far that it’s hard to tell the difference between the sarcasm and the reality anymore.
It’s not a tragedy. It’s not a crime.
It’s a terrorist attack. Period.
I haven’t heard anyone BLAMING Hasan- I’ve heard only that he many have suffered from “compassion fatigue”...OR that he’s just an old-fashioned psychopath. Imagine- IF this kind of attack had been done by a middle-class white guy. The rantings and ravings of the media would be endless.
As far as the president goes- he was busy getting health care passed and going to Camp David for the weekend, telling me all I need to know about his reaction to this.
Oh PLEASE.
To prevent duplication, please do not alter the published title. Thanks.
Such courage!
Flash 2010! New York hit by dirty bomb (Islam terrorists). After deliberating for 48 hours, MSNBC condemns the attackers (but fails to mention any connection to Islam). MSNBC also notes that the Republicans failure to support anti-poverty programs in the third world was major factor in leading attackers to take this action.
Soon, MSNBC = the Onion
"But even people who worried his increasingly strident views were clouding his ability to serve the U.S. military could not predict the murderous rampage of which he now stands accused."Hello! He's an F-ing Muzzie, what the heck else did you expect?
Well done!
Wow, you successfully played with my mind and gave me a new perspective - a scary one, but new.
We ain’t started playing “Cowboys and Muslims” yet here in Texas, but it is being considered seriously by the local white robe wearing members of the Klan. I figger a few cross burnings might be in the near future at the mosques down in Killeen and Harker Heights. Hell, some of the guys want to have one at the White House.
Gotta look for them though, I imagine 90%+ of them are unreported.
Munitions sniffing dogs need to be deployed to all mosques and those that get an alert should be shut down and destroyed.
The few left in the USA should be able to monitored by about a dozen personnel.
Bull crap. Hussein has done nothing but cover his ass after his initial insensitivity was shown--his true face.
He has been letting American soldiers die for months now, "studying" the Afghanistan issue. And his photo op last week, when only ONE family allowed him to be seen with the coffin, is further proof he is a hack.
I hope he gets a big time cold shoulder from the people at Ft. Hood. He deserves it.
IMHO, not very cool of you to post a link to PMSNBC, change the article title and then post a bunch of sarcasm as if that is what was posted on PMSNBC. Eh?
You are right. I was a bit subtle, but I think the sarcasm might be more obvious.
Unfortunately, in today’s world, you can’t know for sure if MSNBC is like that.
I really liked MSNBC about 12 years ago.. they had Bob Gibson and were not like they are today.
