ABC radio is reporting this morning that the CIA had been watching Hasan for several months because of his attempts to contact Muslim terrorists (which they apparently intercepted.) The CIA did not inform the Army.

I read that too, I hope the policies that led to that, and which seem to have overridden his clear unsuitability to be in the military, are exposed and changed. But I'm not optimistic.

Fat chance of fighting these bastards with the current islamocommunist, or even the likes of Bush in charge.

His blanket religion of peace characterization was clearly a mistake. I fear it found it's way into policy. Distinctions amongst Muslims must be made. The risk of this Major was there to be seen by anyone who looked.
