Join Obama in honoring the dead

President Barack Obama will be front and center at Fort Hood today to honor those killed and wounded in last Thursday's attack on unarmed soldiers preparing to deploy.
That's where the commander in chief ought to be, and those who perpetrate division, anger and suspicion should have enough respect for the dead, the wounded and their families to let up for a bit.
The din that followed the Fort Hood shooting was to be expected. Criticism of the nation's leader is nothing new, but in the information age, the volume — in every sense of the word — of that criticism increases. The internet is an electronic megaphone that doesn't filter legitimate criticism from noisy nonsense.
Today should be a day of reflection, of condolence and a coming together to honor the memories of those who were lost in the attack.
We don't honor their memories by dwelling on what divides us.
Is this when he trots out his ‘real’ birth certificate to show solidarity?

Obie’s military policies have directly killed US troops in Afghanistan and has instituted political correctness even at Ft. Hood leading to more deaths.

He is using this as his personal photo op. He couldn’t care less about these men,,,only about how it looks, only how it affects his mooslime brethren.

Come now, we expect the best from the elected representatives of our government, especially from the one at the highest position. You doubt that he won’t be forthcoming on the origins of his ‘origin’. Shame on you sir/madam!
