My aging, overweight husband is still a Marine (Korea). There is a special quality/spirit stamped into the soul of a man, who has served as a Marine, which never leaves him. My husband is, and will always be my hero. His older brother, a Marine, fought on the beaches of Guadalcanal in WWII.
