What’s your point? All these Freepers watched the speech and you come on here defending Obama. Your last comment after observing the picture of her being mad said it all. We have seen it before. This was NOT the picture of someone grieving.
Not in the mood to read anything from an Obama defender and reading a speech from a teleprompter is NOT growing up. He is still that lame excuse for a Commander in Chief that cannot speak from the heart but reads what he is told to read.
Obama never writes a speech — ask the people in Chicago that know him. He didn’t write his books either. Anyone that cannot string two sentences together when talking off the teleprompter cannot write a speech.

I disagree about the speech. It lacked content in terms of the enemy we are fighting and frankly, that the "T" word was not mentioned. It was a dishonest speech. Specifically,
It may be hard to comprehend the twisted logic that led to this tragedy. But this much we do know – no faith justifies these murderous and craven acts; no just and loving God looks upon them with favor. And for what he has done, we know that the killer will be met with justice – in this world, and the next.
We are a nation of laws whose commitment to justice is so enduring that we would treat a gunman and give him due process, just as surely as we will see that he pays for his crimes.
Obama is treating this as a criminal matter, not an act of terrorism. To admit that it is a terrorist act hurts Obama politically, especially in view of his ongoing contretemps with Dick Cheney. And it demonstrates how vulnerable we really are. The Dems are working now on revising the Patriot Act.
Isn’t it funny that Obama only seems moved and genuine when speaking about Islam or in the presence of important Muslims?
