Just as a side note, I'm completely stunned that the Anglicans will be welcomed back in the fold. I will be watching intently if the Catholic Church starts to make separate rules for the lukewarm's. The reason Anglicans got in trouble in the first place is liberalism. Like a cancer, they will start to soften their beliefs in sodomite marriage, abortion and whatever else is dedicated to the "Can't we all just get along" category. It may take awhile in coming, but like cancer, it will most likely show itself soon. How can Catholics preach piety and allow Pelosi, Biden, Kerry, and 50 Kennedy's to remain in the Church? Their hypocrisy will be pointed to every time they try to re educate an Anglican.
Just another passing thought, ...What happens when the Episcopalians, Lutherans, et al want to come back in? My bet is some amalgamation of mushy dogma that would accept a Hindu going to heaven without Jesus. At some point, you are either a Catholic or you need to figure out what you are. One that votes for Obama needs to repent. Killing babies pretty much trumps most other things in my book.
Abandoning abortion principles to get more food stamp programs is just pointing to someone that doesn't "get it".

I’m an ex-Anglican, and the reason I became Catholic is because I saw where the church stood on the unborn child and on same sex marriage. You are incorrect to assume that all Catholics are socialists. We do not like the state, which is why we believe in a worldwide church which takes precedence.
Look at Pope John Paul II, widely credited for leading the battle against communism along with Thatcher and Reagan. We are not your enemies, we are your partners and your friends.

I notice you left out contraception. It was the Anglicans who first approved of contraception in the end of the dirty thirties. The only one who’s stayed steadily against contraception is the Catholic church.

What authority does an Anglican have to condemn the church on principles that she herself preaches? Any Anglican who makes this argument loses, because he affirms the principles of the Catholic church, as true and more true than what the Anglican offers.
I don't assume ALL Catholics are socialists. I do see a majority of Catholics want something for free from the false god of government. Look at South America, Mexico, Africa, and many Asian countries. Look at Father Phlager, Obama's Catholic buddy. Hugo Chavez is a Catholic. It would take a few minutes to fill a page with names you would probably recognize that hates capitalism and embraces socialism. There are many Catholics that are capitalists and understand the Bible meaning of sharing with your brother and supplying your brothers needs. Jesus is talking to you, not your congressman.
Having said that, I'm absolutely sure the vast majority thinks Jesus had a hammer and sickle tattoo. All you have to do is speak with a Jesuit for about 5 minutes and your skin would crawl. If you read or hear of a story about some nuns or a priest getting killed somewhere, it is almost 100% sure that they were Jesuits gun running for some commie revolutionary. These people are not innocent. They are dabbling in political movements instead of seeking to save souls. I wonder if the Irish Church had any dealings with murders and running guns in Ireland?
As a Catholic, you can do what you want, but the church should choose carefully what they get mixed up in. Stay with the teachings of the Bible and the church will do fine. But that's back to the first problem we were talking about, abortion is bigger than more food stamps, but many Catholics chose food stamps over a baby's life.
