The Man Who Despises America (And everyone knows it.)
American Spectator ^ | November 09, 2009 | Mark Hyman

Posted on 11/11/2009 3:55:06 AM PST by RobinMasters

The very next paragraph is going to make the nut jobs on the far left excitable beyond belief. I am not referring to all Democrats or even a majority of liberals. I am singling out the "they've-lost-all-touch-with-reality" crowd. This includes Media Matters for America led by the admitted hit-and-run, drunk-driving serial liar.

The group includes the unshaven, bathrobe-clad unemployed who live in their mother's basement and are devout followers of MoveOn.Org. It is also the bitter, aging spinster working at the New York Times, the morbidly obese documentary film maker, and cable TV news' resident drama queen who hosts MSNBC's Countdown. They are about to simultaneously suffer from brain aneurisms. So without further delay, I'll say it.

Barack Obama despises America.

When people who voted for Obama in 2008 -- including registered Democrats -- start speaking in normal conversational voices at dinner parties, neighborhood gatherings and PTA meetings that the over-inflated ego from Chicago has it "in for America," then it's clear most reasonable people have reached the same conclusion.

Community was an odd choice of words to read.

Pray for America and Our Troops

Not anything Merkel has said publically, but check out her skeptical expression in the photo at the top of this thread. Also note Obama’s arrogant smirk.

(And I would love to know what she has said about Obama off the record.)

“I’m not sure who the author means here. I think he might have John Podesta, the guy who runs Media Matters, confused with Sid “Vicious” Blumenthal, who was busted for drunk driving in NH while working on Hillary’s campaign last year.”

David Brock, former writer for the American Spectator and turncoat founded media matters and I suspect the reference is to him. He is an admitted liar. I don’t kno0w about the drunk driving and hit and run.

I think he and Hillary have the same disgust for our country Obama has, they just hide it better.

Not a chance. They may share the same lust for power but, not a chance can Bill equal Hussein's disgust for country.

He also denigrated the accomplishments of the American G.I. during World War II in the Pacific theater when he offered a thinly veiled apology for the U.S. having dropped the A-bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Those acts brought the war to a swift conclusion, perhaps saving hundreds of thousands of lives when it appeared Japan was prepared to wage an island-by-island battle to the last man.

In fact, the Japanese were ready to sacrifice themselves, their families to stop Americans. This would have resulted in millions of JAPANESE deaths. The nooks were the only option to prevent these deaths and a long, lingering, bloody war.

Absolutely awesome. The only problem here is that the “they’ve lost all touch with reality” crowd hates America too.

This is an excellent piece.

Barack Obama - first Affirmative Action POTUS in history.

The Peter Principle writ large - to the detriment of the USA.

One of the best portraits of Obama I’ve seen written yet so far. This author NAILS IT.

Good read, though I'll need a couple handfuls of antacid to get through the morning now.

I'm still shaking my head about the last election. Voters seemed to be willing to overlook everything the author has written simply because obama looks very much like a black man? Apparently so. It's good to see more are waking up to reality and not liking it, but who doesn't believe obama would win re-election if it were held today?

Great article. I could feel my blood pressure rising as I read through the list of examples of Obama’s contempt for America.

And the author didn’t even mention Obama’s solid support of Honduras’ Marxist tin-pot dictator wannabe Chavez mini-me, Mel Zelaya.

My only disagreement with the article is that Clinton loves this country- I think he and Hillary have the same disgust for our country Obama has, they just hide it better.

Both the Clintons put together are Rock-Ribbed True Blue Patriots compared to Obama.

This radical leftist despises everything American.

He hates Capitalism, prefers Marxist ideology.

He hates our military.

He hates our Constitution, sees it as an obstacle to his Socialist policies.

Has turned he back on long-time allies.

Refuses to admit and radical islam is a threat not only to America but to the world.

This Harvard-educated man-child can't even speak publicly without a crutch called a telepromter.

And on and on.....

Never in our Republic's history have we had a President that hates his own country.

Turncoat and Airhead

by Jeffrey A. Tucker

Blinded by the Right: The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative (NY: Crown Publishers, 2002) is one of those books that you buy for the index. The advance word on it was that David Brock, the author of scathing books and articles on Anita Hill and Bill Clinton in the 1990s, had turned against his own to rat out the conservative-movement slime that crawl around Capitol Hill.

(snip)

Some people say that Brock is trying to remake himself so as to be presentable to the mainstream media crowd. Now, why would anyone think that? Can we possibly doubt the sincerity of someone who pens the following: “Only as I gave up my cherished place in the movement, which allowed me to confront the false right-wing ideology of exclusion, intolerance, prejudice, and hate that I had advanced so blindly, did I find my conscience and principles underneath.”

A Maoist training camp couldn’t have created a better puppet.

And yet, there’s a point to such people, as when they let loose with all sorts of naughty revelations against the DC minicon crowd:

One night, after downing several cocktails and snorting an unidentifiable white powder an acquaintance had given me – which turned out to be the cat tranquilizer Ketamine – I was sick in the bathroom for several hours trying to get my bearings as Laura [Ingraham], in a drunken stupor, crawled through the packed two-story dance club on her hands and knees looking for me. Her purse had been locked in my car trunk, causing her to call a friend in the wee hours of the morning to rescue her. In the meantime, she had managed to leave me a series of violent messages, threatening to “break every window in my house” if I didn’t return the keys immediately.

Sniffing an unidentifiable powder that turns out to be cat tranquilizer? What planet is this? No regular person behaves this way in the real world. But Brock tells the story as if to rat out Laura, oblivious as to how it makes him look.

He also turns out to be a hit-and-run criminal:

During the months of drunken carousing before I settled down to work on the book [on Hillary], I crashed my Mercedes into another car while attempting to park it near my house. Very drunk and scared, I raced my car across Washington’s Key Bridge to my office at the Spectator in Virginia and parked it in the magazine’s underground garage. I stumbled back to Georgetown on foot. I called Mark [Paoletta] at home and told him what had happened. He suggested that I move my car to the lowest floor in the garage, backing it in to hide the dent, leave it there for ten days or so, then whisk it to a nearby auto body shop for repairs. I followed his advice, and from that day forward wondered if Mark was capable of holding the incident over me as a way of keeping me in line ideologically. I was compromised.

Hey, buddy, what about your neighbor’s car you caused untold thousands of dollars of damage to? Any compensation due there? Did you share your million-dollar book advance with the car owner?

About every three pages, Brock reminds the reader that he is gay. Sometimes he’s closeted, sometimes he’s not, and he apparently thinks readers are going to take great interest in this supposed drama, but it’s hard to follow and it’s deadly dull. By his own account, people treated him no differently either way. Only after he turned from right to left did his former friends stop inviting him to parties. You know what he attributes his shunning to? You guessed it: homophobia (”I had been wrong to think that the movement had accepted me as a gay man.”)

(snip)

Seeing it all laid out in chronological order really makes me mad. I’m sure it was shortened for space constraints, but the snubbing of the British PM and the iPod for the Queen of England should be included, not to mention the sending back of bust of Winston Churchill.

Or his administration’s attacks on Fox News, Rush, Glen Beck. (attempts to control the press are important parts of any totalitarian’s resume).

Or the FCC head who not only doesn't think the "Fairness Doctrine" doesn't go far enough, but openly slobbers over Hugo Chavez.

Or the Science Czar who believes in forced abortions and mass sterilization through contamination of our drinking water.

Or the Regulatory Czar who thinks your dog should be able to sue you.

Or the School Czar who's a member of NAMBLA.

Or the economic suicide pact known as Cap-And-Trade.

Or his tripling of the deficit in less than 10 months.

Or Porkulus.

Or the Death Panels.

Or telling Grandma to take a pain pill.

Or accusing doctors of performing unnecessary tonsillectomys or amputations for extra cash.

Or ACORN.

Or SEIU.

Or Socialized Medicine.

Or the government takeover of GM, Chrysler, and any number of financial institutions.

Or giving an IPod of his own speeches to Queen Elizabeth.

Or sending back the bust of Winston Churchill to England.

And that's just off the top of my head.
