I know a guy who was charged with making "terrorist threats" on his step-son's answering machine after he threatened the little prick who totaled his van and stole his business equipment, while trying to establish a similar business somewhere else- with his equipment!

You can either look at it as a lower powered reduced case 5.56mm NATO, or a centerfire analog of the .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire
I was thinking that a .40 S&W makes a much larger hole.
