WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama does not plan to accept any of the Afghanistan war options presented by his national security team, pushing instead for revisions to clarify how and when U.S. troops would turn over responsibility to the Afghan government, a senior administration official said Wednesday.
That stance comes in the midst of forceful reservations about a possible troop buildup from the U.S. ambassador in Afghanistan, Karl Eikenberry, according to a second top administration official.

All that sacrifice by our troops—from missing births of children, and special holidays with their loved ones, to losing limbs and even losing their lives—for NOTHING!!

obumber is an idiot, he wants out of Afghanistan at any cost. He does not realize that as soon as we are out of Afghanistan the terrorist will move back to Iraq. Then we will start taking a beating there and he will want to get out of there. He will lose in both Afghanistan and Iraq and the media will blame it all on Bush. During all this, the dollar is going to collapse. So ya, I’m optimistic.
The Obamas go out on taxpayer funded dates while our man and women of honor die.
Credibility is fast becoming a problem for Obama.
Zero wants credit for brilliant strategic decisions he’ll never take.
And the media will give him that credit, as will half the American people.
This country has failed its brave soldiers.
He’s just having a hard time getting the
“Consensus” he wants, so he doesn’t have to
bear the responsiblity all by himself.
Reading that, maybe we’re where he thinks we are now because he failed in some of those earlier jobs in the zone.
