Remember how the Democrats reacted when the Bush Administration started replacing U.S. Attorneys? At least they were actually political appointees employed at the will and whim of the President.

It's easier for one man to change his mind than to convince tens of millions to do so. You blame those millions for not changing their mind on McCain (ie - voting for him).
Whereas had McCain, and only McCain, changed his mind and run as a CONSERVATIVE, all those voters would have come voting.

What does Obama care about legal? Or even constitutional? But to answer your question, no, it is not. The civil service laws prohibit firing civil service employees for political reasons.
There will be an election. Even the zero cannot prohibit the states from holding one. Unless Christ returns to earth and raptures his church, leaving the liberals basically uncontested in their lust for power, there would be an armed revolution.
Just as appalled as our founding fathers would be at what we are letting them get away with. They gave us explicit instructions and means to keep the Republic. We let them down.
As I recall, one of clinton’s first actions was to fire all the U.S. attorneys. Didn’t hear a peep about that.

Zero needs lots more SLOTS to stuff his Acorn friends into taxpayer funded jobs so they can use their taxpayer funded time to do HIS bidding come election time.
I had this semi-comforting thought that President Bush has probably gotten thousands of good, honest, decent, freedom loving people to seek Federal government jobs - appointing many and then, as stated, these become regular civil servants into their time in their positions.
Now these decent, honest, freedom loving types will be fired and replaced with either Acorn type thugs/crooks or more Van Jones type communists.
Why not a class action lawsuit by those who are being “purged” ????

Unfortunately, you are likely correct. A sizable chunk of the country believes everything a Democrat tells them. If the party says that 2+2=5 then that is the new sum. It has ALWAYS been the sum.
