Military Charges Hasan With 13 Counts of Murder, Excludes Unborn Baby

Fort Hood, TX -- The military has charged Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan with 13 counts of premeditated murder in the terrible shooting that recently took place at the Fort Hood military base. The initial charges do not include one for the death of an unborn child, who was the little-talked-about fourteenth victim.

Why would the prosecutors want to spend time establishing a new doctrine in the military courts? If he’s convicted they’d hardly need to execute him one more time.

13 or 14....unless his lawyers are successful in making this a civil matter, he’s going down anyway.

I do agree that the unborn baby should have been included, but this is all right.

So, you want Hasan to be executed 14 times instead of only 13?

They’ll get him for practicing medicine without a license for that one.

I think we should feel lucky that they actually charged him with murder at all.

“So, you want Hasan to be executed 14 times instead of only 13?” I think some are missing the point. It may not seem like a big deal because he will still most likely be executed, but that is pretty much saying that unborn babies do not have the same value as people who are already born. It may not seem like a big deal now, but this can very easily give them an edge in their argument about abortion.

They left out the precious baby and the charge of treason. This vile man took up arms and joined the other side.

No, the problem is that some want courts to operate outside the law, a little, as long as it's for a good, conservative cause.

The sad fact is that the law doesn't regard an unborn child as a person. Wishing it were different doesn't make it so. Are we to uphold the law, changing the bad ones through legislation, or not?

Filing charges as though the unborn child WERE regarded by the law to be a person would only muddy the water and give the defense another angle to have the case thrown out.

There are proper ways to fight abortion, but I don't believe that is one of them.

I wish the relatives, of the mother of the unborn child,
would file a lawsuit for murder of the unborn child.
Put it ‘out there’ to the World, a child was killed!

As I predicted, the Military court won't risk the trial by bringing up the 14th victim.

With the amount of witnesses, it won't be necessary.

By all means, continue to spread the word about this innocent child's demise.
