WASHINGTON — Self-proclaimed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay detainees will be sent to New York to face trial in a civilian federal court, an Obama administration official said Friday.
The official said Attorney General Eric Holder plans to announce the decision later in the morning.
The official is not authorized to discuss the decision before the announcement, so spoke on condition of anonymity.

Say what you want about our prison population but if you think a 9/11 conspirator could survive 72 hours in maximum security? I highly doubt that in NYC even in the criminal class that someone wasn’t touched by 9/11 enough to vent these clowns with a few extra holes.

I knew that the move to seize those 4 US mosques and NY skyscraper was cover for something. Although, I Didn’t expect the usual 0bama sleight of hand to be within 24 hours.

Even if not personally, he now has all the inside info he could possibly want. What’s to stop him from passing it along to their defenders? Nothing. His past record on Gitmo gives us all we need to know about his “loyalties”.
Dangerous game here. They’ll have the best lawyers in the country, and most of the evidence may be thrown out. There’s a slight chance they’ll walk free.
