HARTFORD, Conn. -- Firefighter Mike DiGiacomo said his SUV is banned from in the firehouse because the bumper stickers he has on it, displays his political views. DiGiacomo said he has never run into a problem like this in the 10 years he has been with the department.
The bumper stickers read: Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing its idiot Ill keep my guns, freedom and money. You keep the change Obama Bin Lyin. Impeach Now

That pesky 1st amendment
In a related item, an Obama voter cut me off in traffic yesterday morning during a downpour on the GW Parkway. Nearly took of the front end of my car.
Putz.
I am betting this gets worse.......before it gets better. Both for him personally, and for us.
But This one would be okay................
Fire the Unions!
Pray for America’s Freedom
I like those particular bumper stickers but even in this rural area (union rich) I wouldn’t put them on. Our car would be vandalized and keyed from one end to another and guarding it with a shotgun while in town wouldn’t fly.
“That pesky 1st amendment”
Exactly!!!
The guy needs to force the issue on the city then sue the crap out of it.Hartford is not a wealthy city afterall. They might just give in though I would prefer he sues and teaches these liberals a lesson once and for all.
This one is safe...............
Bumper Sticker for Obama
Pray for Obama, Psalm 109:8
( Psalm 109:8
“Let his days be few; and let another take his office. “ )
Now I just can't see it that way. If I'm a cashier at a store and I harangue every shopper about the evils of Obama, my employer has a right to fire me. I'm crazy if I think that can't happen.
Is there is a Death Cult religion running around preaching violence, shooting people, and chopping heads off, the government really ought to outlaw it, seize the religious buildings, and sell them on the open market. Our society would be crazy to tolerate a religion which will not tolerate us and has as its goal ourt destruction or enslavement.
Although I still like the basic ideas of the First Amendment, I spend a lot of time thinking about it nowadays and I just wish I lived in a world where a simplistic view sufficed.
That’s a Volvo. They come from the factory covered with Obama stickers.
Cool, I need a new tagline.
Borrowing your psalm, thank you very much.
In this case, the employer is the government. The first amendment applies to the government but not private employers.
Perfect! Okay if I use it in my tagline?
Does the government have standing to say "We won't put up with that crap"? or does the First Amendment prevent the government from banning "incorrect" speech?
