Wonder if anyone ever had any trouble with these bumper stickers at his job or another post.

Saw another one I liked recently. Figured the car owner had guts putting it on. “SO far, he sucks.” The O in SO was that rising sun symbol of the campaign.

Psalm 109:3 is WHY you cite 109:8

Funny how the “Somewhere in Texas...” sticker was perfectly acceptable, but this isn’t.

Bastiat would be sick to his stomach.

I guess irony, humor, and sarcasm are the next thing to eliminate, you know, for the cause of plainness, err, I mean diversity.

If I'm a cashier at a store and I harangue every shopper about the evils of Obama, my employer has a right to fire me. I'm crazy if I think that can't happen.

Ah, but if you're a cashier at a store, harangue everyone you see on your own time, and have an exemplary work record does your employer have a right to fire you because you espouse your political views in public but in no way associate them with your workplace?

Firefighter Mike Di’Giacomo said his SUV is banned from in the firehouse because the bumper stickers he has on it, displays his political views.

I think this guy is associating his political views with his workplace. And his employer is saying "Please don't".

No he isn't. He's not associating them with his workplace unless he puts the stickers on the trucks/vans/cars that are fire department official vehicles or speaks, in public, in his firefighters garb, as a representative of the department.

As long as the stickers are on his private vehicle they are not associating the views with his workplace.

OK. I see your point. But I think the fire chief feels that if the car is parked at the firehouse, then some kind of association is being made.

Then the fire chief is in the wrong and if he took action and I was this guy I would have it made for life.

Probably really not the best Psalm to use, if you read it in its entirety.

It is the “wicked and treacherous” who attack the leader with the hopes that the “May his days be few; may another take his office. May his children be fatherless, his wife, a widow. May his children be vagrant beggars, driven from their hovels. May the usurer snare all he owns, strangers plunder all he earns. May no one treat him kindly or pity his fatherless children. May his posterity be destroyed, his name cease in the next generation. May the LORD remember his fathers’ guilt; his mother's sin not be canceled. May their guilt be always before the LORD, till their memory is banished from the earth, For he did not remember to show kindness, but hounded the wretched poor and brought death to the brokenhearted. He loved cursing; may it come upon him; he hated blessing; may none come to him. May cursing clothe him like a robe; may it enter his belly like water, seep into his bones like oil. May it be near as the clothes he wears, as the belt always around him.”

However, the LORD will actually exact that punishment onto those who wish for it to happen to the leader.
