One can say what is worse, that if you thought gitmo’s closing was right and I DO NOT, but if you did there were folks in Michigan, that while they had reservation’s they had an entire town that relied on the employment of a prison that is now closing/closed. They had town hall meetings to discuss the detainees ability to be housed safely. Many were against, but, many who were going to be unemployed wanted to use their prison. Instead Obama wants to spend money we do not have, in his home state, to put the enemy on US soil. Kind of like trying KSM and the cost of that when we just built a courtroom in GITMO and they were pleading guilty. OH this is as usual all about the great obama. They just do not get it, none of them. ~FMC
They are going to “buy” a prison. I doubt the prison is sitting empty. So this means they are going to release a bunch of criminals so they can put these terrorists there.
Oh and also who is the money going to? Could Daley be getting a chunk of the payoff errrr paying price?

Yup, twice as close as Vince Flynn parked virtual terrorists in his latest book. Not that anyone is this administration would read Flynn. Thomsen is about 40 miles upstream from us in the Iowa Quad Cities and also from the Rock Island Arsenal, 25 miles upstream from our nuclear power plant at Cordova, IL. If their friends want to visit they’d never find anything here worth attacking... If the FBI isn’t insane then our airport security will be getting slower. And all to provide union jobs the Illinois state machine can’t otherwise afford.
This is very odd to me.
I don’t believe that having a circus trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammad in New York City (assuming he doesn’t seek a change of venue) will help the Democrats in 2010; it will remind them of how the Democrats are making us less safe, and how the President loathes America. Now this can help tirn Illinois into a red state.
It’s almost as though Obama is trying to whip up the patriotic resistance and lose the next election for the Democrats.

Let me guess: who will run the prison? ACORN? CAIR? SEIU? Obama’s brown shirt youth brigades? Code Pink? Nation of Islam... Mayor Daley’s machine...?
The prison is fairly new and near empty. The feds will spend many millions to upgrade security. Another huge waste of our money for something we don’t need. I ‘m sure somebody in his home state stands to gain from this plan. Show trials in NYC will be another ton of wasted money. What a nightmare this pres. has turned into.

Bingo! Anything for a buck. They are broke, they lost the Olympics that they thought they had in the bag. The narcissists never thought there was a chance they wouldn’t get the Olympics. They thought everyone adored them. They are finding out real fast many, many despise them and see them for what they are.
Now in typical Chi town pay to play, they will get the money via the terrorists coming there. It’s all pay to play. Every single thing they do. Disgusting. I really expect him to be impeached and involved in things that make Nixon pale in comparison.
